Staying at Top Choice Guest Home was one of the best decisions I made during my time in Nepal. I stayed for four months, and every moment felt perfect. From the moment we arrived, I felt instantly at home. Khem, Susma, and their lovely children welcomed us with open arms and treated us like part of the family. They went above and beyond to make sure we were always comfortable and happy. Khem was always ready to help—whether I had a problem, wanted to explore something, or needed help planning a trip. One question was all it took, and he would arrange everything quickly and for the best price. The rooms are cozy, clean, and well-maintained. Hot showers are available, and for longer stays, they clean your room regularly. It’s a perfect setup for both short and extended visits. In the evenings, you're welcome to join the family for delicious dal bhat, which was always a treat. And if you enjoy cooking, Susma is more than happy to show you how to prepare Nepali meals—an unforgettable experience. One of my favorite parts was the rooftop. It’s a peaceful space where you can relax in the sun, have breakfast, read a book, or do your laundry while enjoying the view. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the lake and surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. Everything you need is close by, and if you want to go further, buses and taxis are easily accessible. Khem and his family are excellent hosts and their hospitality is unmatched. When you stay here you are part of the family and they will do anything they can to let you have the best possible vacation.

When I arrived I was welcomed very warmly. Khem, Susma and the children will always be there for you. For me it feels like home here and like being with family. In the room you have everything you need. A warm shower, a toilet, a sink, a comfortable bed, a fan and a closet where you can put your things. There is also a small sofa which is very convenient. You live here in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. You have a balcony outside and a roof terrace where you can cool down and enjoy the beautiful view. Also, this guesthouse is centrally located and close to the lake and many restaurants. So you will not get bored! For me they deserve definitely 5 stars!
