Clarion Inn Pocatello

Pretty dated accommodations, and don't get me started with "breakfast"... Don't know where prices on this site come from, I was charged $149 for a night. For that kind of money I could definitely expect at least twice the value.

The beds were good and slept very well. There was a good hot shower. The WIFI was adequate for personal use. Breakfast cost $5 per person extra after check-in coupon. The check in process was quick and with out problems. We don't tend to use the pool.

Outstanding I came in and reserved there ballroom for a memorial dinner the food was great the staff very attentive could not have asked for more. My room was clean and some of my family that came in for the funeral brought there dogs and were very pleased for the accommodations that were pet friendly. We even came in under budget cannot thank them more. On a personal note thank you to Melanie and our crew member that took care of us all night with the bar and were wonderful sorry I cannot remember his name. I do not wish to have another funeral any time soon but I would come back.

The way this hotel is designed makes it very hard to get some sleep. The inside rooms are designed around an indoor pool. All voices and screams echo so so loud. The pool does close at 10pm which is good. But they have tables set outside of all the rooms where people stay up to all hours visiting very loud in the echoing building right outside the rooms. The rooms are nice. But the outside of the hotel is intimidating, overflowing trash cans, dead grass, peeling paint and ****s everywhere. I would understand if this hotel was on the cheaper side, but it was one of the highest priced. Oh, also priceline says check in was at 3:00 the lady at the front desk pointed at a sign... "check in is at 4:00, its always been 4:00"
