Premier Inn Plymouth City Centre (Derry's Cross)

Uncomfortable Bed and Pillows: The mattress was uncomfortably hard, the bed frame was noisy, and the pillows were excessively firm. This combination significantly impacted my ability to get a restful night's sleep. Excessive Noise: The room doors throughout the hotel seemed to slam with such force that the wall in my room physically shook, waking me up multiple times during both nights. This made a peaceful stay impossible. Maintenance Issues: The net curtain pole fell down as it appeared to be held up only by a tension rod. The iron provided was cracked and broken, lacking a lid on the water reservoir. The TV remote control buttons were sticky, causing them to not work. There were noticeable cobwebs by the curtains.

Best Premiere Inn we’ve stayed at room was lovely and clean bed very comfortable food was excellent the chef cooked a perfect steak on both nights we were there breakfast was very good nice choice and all hot also the two girls Terrie and Natalia (think that’s the right spelling)who greeted us when we arrived looked after us while checking in and again in the restaurant later made us feel very welcome will definitely be going back

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn City Centre in Plymouth and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the city. What truly stood out, however, was the service, especially from Chrissie. She was, without a doubt, the most attentive and professional employee I have ever encountered. Her genuine warmth, attention to detail, and ability to make guests feel welcome was unmatched. She went above and beyond throughout my stay and made a real difference to the overall experience. I also dined in the on-site restaurant and was delighted by the quality of the food. The steak I ordered was expertly cooked. Tender, flavorful, and prepared exactly to my liking. It was clear the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Plymouth. I’ll definitely be returning!

Came with my partner to the hotel and had a lovely stay. Excellent location and friendly, smiley staff. Gorgeous food. We were chatting to the chef Christina? on her break who was so welcoming and gave us lots of excellent local spots to try. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back soon x

We did not receive any form of service throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we checked in and proceeded directly to our room without any interaction from the staff. The following morning, breakfast was cold, with no staff present to greet us or show us to our seats. The only person available was a receptionist who appeared disinterested and merely processed our payment. I had to personally request that the chef reheat the food in a microwave and prepare vegetarian sausages, which were served poorly presented—flattened and excessively greasy.

Love staying here. Ideally situated for the Barbican,TRP, Hoe,city centre and university visits / drop offs, pickups. Staff are fantastic, polite and cannot do enough, they never stop. Food is excellent, the rooms are quiet and always spotlessly clean .All in all perfect.
