Bungalows Cordial Biarritz

The best break away I needed! The hotel was very friendly , close to the beach and shops . The hotel staff are amazing! They really look after you . The bungalows are very clean and have everything you need for self catering . A home away from home . 100% recommend this hotel and a special thanks to Marta on the reception.

Stayed here for first time last year, rebooked for this year and checking out tomorrow (funny story, we ended up in the same bungalow we were in last year). Cannot fault anything, the staff are great, the accomodation is great & clean, it's all great to be honest especially cause we prefer self catering, mostly for breakfast as we sleep in from the drinks the night before. This time was a couples trip and the other party booked after us so we emailed in about if we could be next to them (we were fully aware it may not be possible but wanted to ask), and they got us just 1 bungalow down from them which again they didn't have to do but they did it and it was very much appreciated. The location of this place is spot on, easy access to bus's, shops, Yumbo, and this time we had an excursion rep come around while by the pool so we booked some trips, it worked out well as we went looking on day 1 to book some but the stands were either closed or the person was away from desk. Thank you again for providing amazing accomodation and it's pretty much guaranteed when we return (which will prob be next year) we will be booking here again, why go elsewhere when this offers all you need coupled with great staff and great location.

Wow What a refreshing relaxing complex, Tranquil is a understatement we stayed in 119 luxuries 2 bedroom bungalow I have a TBI so I struggle with noisy places the staff are amazing especially the lady who runs the bar if you want to adventure out you are based right in the centre of bars & restaurants with the sea front with plenty of shops,bars and restaurants offering an exceptional holiday We have already booked to go back for 10 nights from 15/08/2025 See you soon muchas gracias AAChin

I could almost give these Bungalows 5 stars just for the shower! But it actually gets 5 stars for everything! First there’s the cute entranceway – looking especially lovely and festive as it was Christmas. Reception staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. The gardens and pool area are well-kept and pretty. The bungalow itself was spotlessly clean and spacious, and I loved the style and layout, with the dining and living areas cleverly separated into distinct areas whilst being in one big room and a variety of lighting (uplighting, wall lighting, main light, etc). The kitchen was clean and tidy with a good array of utensils and crockery etc, with a proper fridge/freezer – not just a tiny freezer box. Also provided on arrival was a bottle of water and a very useful small washing-up pack. Just off the kitchen was an outdoor space for drying clothes, equipped with pegs too! The bathroom was large with a nice selection of environmentally friendly toiletries, including items you don’t usually get in other hotels like lip balm, emery boards, cotton wool, dental kit, razor, etc. The terrace was a good-sized area with 3 chairs and 3 sun loungers – presumably they provide for as many people as staying in the bungalow, whereas other places I’ve stayed only provided 2 even though there were 3 of us. And although we were roadside rather than pool or garden, it was not overlooked by passersby or neighbours. The safe was large and easy to use, though you pay a bit extra for this. We were self-catering but had the breakfast once. There was everything you would expect to find at a buffet breakfast and it was all very tasty, and well laid out considering the small space available for this. Sara (I think that was her name) was friendly and chatty, and replenished the breakfast goodies as soon as was needed. Yes, some of the indoor furniture seems dated but nothing that a sanding and repainting wouldn’t fix. I would absolutely recommend if staying in the area. Loved it.

When we arrived there was a queue to check in and only one lady on reception. Credit to her as she remained calm, friendly and efficient throughout. The grounds are lovely, as is the pool. Unfortunately no umbrellas. The pool bar was closed most of the time, hubby went to get an ice cream when it was open to be told they hadn’t got any due to the machine being broken. The rooms are extremely dated which makes them look dirty. The first thing that hit me when entering the bungalow was the smell, I can only describe as mothballs. I’m extremely allergic to cats and one must have been in the room as I struggled to breathe most of the time. I’m a light sleeper and was lucky to get a couple of hours rest due to being on the roadside and the noise from coaches all through the night was horrendous. It wasn’t just the constant noise but the air pollution the coaches and traffic were kicking out, further aggravating my asthma. Out of the 10 days we were there by day 5 I just wanted to go home. The sheets weren’t changed while we were there. If you like quiet this is ideal- apart from the traffic noise.

It’s a little late but been taking my time in writing this review! We had a 10 day break,early July,staying in a two bedroom apartment (room 135). It was just perfect! Air conditioning in both bedrooms and the front room, ceiling fans and tv’s are in all three rooms as well. A well stocked kitchen for self catering, pool towels and safe included. A small issue with no outside chairs (we think the neighbours had borrowed them for a last night party) was quickly rectified and a bottle of wine and jams left as an apology which was a lovely touch! Lifeguard on duty all days, staff extremely friendly and helpful, a mix of nationalities which was nice and most important no one seemed to be claiming sunbeds at stupid hours of the morning! Although by the time we were leaving it was getting busier and earlier that people were leaving towels and not anywhere near them! The pool was just stunning well maintained and the bonus of a hot tub for chilling was great! “Love Island” style sunbeds are available to hire for a small charge. The general area was lovely you won’t be short of places to choose from to eat, you can walk in any direction and there are bars and restaurants, Yumbo centre is a 5 min walk nice during the day and early evening but guessing this changes the later you go. Beach 10 mins with quite a few a steps down, not a problem for us! We will definitely be back, we booked direct and paid so that we could choose our room with an interactive portal so you can see exactly where the room was, perfect we all loved it!
