Found it difficult to find apartment hotels on Las Americas as mainly is hotels. Got for a good price booking directly with hotel. We got 2 one bedroom superior rooms. Long story short - great location, good priced rooms, quite, relaxing accommodation Had contacted the hotel before asking for earlier check in as would be arriving about 12. Was told check in was between 12 and 3. Arrived at 12 and thankfully one of our 2 rooms was ready which was nice to have somewhere to freshen up, however not something I would of been annoyed about without as I know isnt available all the time. Was travelling with a 6 and 2 year old. When room with cot was ready there was a slight issue with the cot but after calling down to reception someone came within 5 minutes with a different one which was great. Rooms clean, bathroom big and decent storage space considering we only had one adult and one child in each room. No ovens in kitchen but microwave and 2 hobs and decent size fridge/freezer. No iron which would be nice but knew before so brought one. Great size balcony too Cleaners come every day (unless you prefer not) and thankfully they dont only come first thing in the morning, they are their until the afternoon. Really friendly too. Breakfast is basic but for the price I dont think anyone would be disappointed. Pool area doesnt get sun until late morning - the annex building has it all day but those rooms have no lift or air con (not sure ours worked fully tbh) so not ideal if you staying on 2nd or 3rd floor with luggage. Areas where sun hits all day the sunbeds are gone straight away from 9.30 - but to be fair to the people who where there when we were they sat out majority of the day, not just sunbed hoggers. We stayed over the baby pool which got sun last so never any issues with beds. Or room was directly over the bar and overlooked where people would sit outside. We later than 9 every night and while could hear some slight chatter if you went out on the balcony, other than that it was very quite. Im not sure how many people avail of using it, but definitely more just people having a quiet drink It is definitely an older person hotel. Was one or 2 young people (20s) but mainly 40+ and older. We were thr only people with kids - no even teenagers when we were there, so it meant the pool was mostly always empty. I was a bit nervous after finding out was more older person hotel about making noise around the pool, but never felt anyone was irritated by the kids. Location could not be better (especially for the price) 5 minutes up the road is a Mercadona if you want a cheaper large supermarket and plenty of smaller supermarkets around too selling more well known brands to UK and Irish market. Small strip of bars 40 steps away and then your almost right on to golden mile. And just 5 minutes to the beach. Slightly up hill to get back to the hotel but I dont think anyone even with accessibility issues would struggle. Would more recommend the hotel to s
