Me and my girlfriend came here for our first holiday together. We stayed a week and complained to each other about the hotel services the majority of the time. We found ourselves leaving the hotel most days and nights due to the horrific food situation. When going for breakfast, lunch and dinner almost everyday was the same bland options. I’m not the pickiest of eater and would eat most foods but I found a severe lack of appetite with some of the meals. The bar staff were lovely and I never had a problem with them but the reception staff on the other hand were rude, impatient and seemed annoyed at the sight of guests. I had paid somewhere around £500 extra for all inclusive and was informed I’d have to pay for a packet of cheap crisps and a larger cup for a Pepsi! There was a huge lack of comfort in the seats around the hotel. One of the best parts of this hotel is the lovely activities promoter he helped majorly with booking outside of hotel activities and asked every day how they were 10/10 guy. All in a terrible experience and will never return.

This is now our second stay at Columbus. Don’t let the bad reviews put you off. This is a lovely hotel. The rooms , pool area and hotel are kept very clean by the hardworking staff. Everyone we came into contact with were friendly and approachable. We had a problem with our door locking and this was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Location is perfect with lots of lovely bars and restaurants to choose from. The heated pool is just perfect. It can get a little loud around the pool area but really just people having fun and enjoying themselves. We have never had a problem with noise at night. We was self catering so can’t comment on the food. We will definitely be returning next year.

3* all inclusive, 7 nights stay. We loved it. Went for a birthday. Read some reviews was a bit worried. Yes there’s drunk people. Yes there’s a bit of noise. We found our room spotless and fridge was really useful. Didn’t have a pool view but wasn’t too fussed. Food was great. Drinks were great. Location brilliant. Staff were all fine. Bar staff were great and kept the drunk ones in check! You get what you pay for and we loved it! Can’t really fault a thing. Some hairdryers in a couple of rooms didn’t work but it’s hot enough to dry in 5 mins!

Good clean hotel in a good location. Found the staff very friendly. Went self catering so can't comment on the hotel food but lots of bars and restaurants close by serving good food. The only thing that spoilt the holiday was the sofa beds, they were so old and uncomfortable.

This hotel is situated in the heart of Playa de las Americas. The bus 40 from the Tenerife South Airport is about 30-40 minutes ride to the hotel and the bus stops just two minutes walk from the hotel and it's €3.70 single bus ticket which you can pay with a contactless card. The hotel staff from reception, kitchen, bar and cleaners are all friendly and helpful. All the amenities were clean and the room was spacious with a balcony. There was a TV in the room with a few English channels. There's no tea or coffee facilities in the room or an iron, so it's best to pack those if it's a necessity for you. The range of food offered at breakfast and dinner was amazing with different options each time and food was replenished regularly. The hotel is only a 10-15 minute walk from the beach and shopping malls and there's a couple of small supermarkets just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a Mercadona supermarket about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. It was a great stay and would happily stay at this hotel again in the future.

Stayed here for 7 nights all inclusive from 6th - 13th April 2024. Had a lovely room on the 5th floor overlooking the main pools. Beds are comfortable enough, Air con in the room made sleeping much easier. Bathroom also very good however sometimes got a bit of a smell from the drains however wasn’t that noticeable. During our stay we also had a hairdryer that didn’t work however we didn’t really need it anyway, it was hot enough outside to dry you off quickly. Was also abit of noise during the night from other guests and outside bars however this depends where you are in the hotel. Food was of a decent quality, with a couple of themed food nights with various options which was a nice change. Very good drinks service throughout the day, never had to wait more than 1 minute for a drink with amazingly friendly staff. Hotel in a great location, with a short walk into Las Amercias centre but also short walk to Los Cristianos and a short bus trip to Costa Adeje or even walkable.

Really enjoyed our 2 week all inclusive holiday. Apart from the lady entertainer all the staff were excellent . Food was great with a wide range on offer to suit all tastes . My partner is celiacandthe chef was able to advise her what was gluten free. Great service.. Rooms were comfortable and the cleaning staff were first class. Would recommend this hotel to all.

Yet again Columbus was magnificent, the staff really friendly the rooms kept immaculate. Felt like this year they had stepped the food quality up even further with fresh salmon and tuna off the grill! The location is really handy, equidistant between Las Americas and Los Cristianos too! Recommended place to stay for sure!

Our hotel room was on the second floor we liked it because it got the sun however there is signs of wear and tear in the room but otherwise very clean . Cleaners done a good job cleaning our room. It’s a very big hotel and you always see them cleaning. However one night the boiler blew above us and water was leaking constantly for hours it can be quite noisy at times but it’s aswell I’m a deep sleeper and can sleep through anything.
