Sir Anthony

Having stayed in a few of the bigger resorts in Tenerife, we decided to stay here to be in the town. I had stayed here a few years back. Near Covid time so said I’d chance it again as wasn’t super then. The hotel is small and personal. The staff were all polite. Good point for hotel is it’s not packed with people at pool area. That’s about the only perk. Hotel is a little underwhelming, especially for price paid. Rooms are average, no water supplied daily to rooms! Which is probably a first in any hotel Ive stayed in in the Canary Islands. I found the bed very hard, so ordered extra pillows to sleep on. Bathroom sliding doors didn’t close fully. The door to balcony was a bit faulty to get the aircon to click on. Just my room, others were fine. Breakfast didn’t have a big selection. And some mornings had to ask for things to be replenished. Food served for lunch was lovely and keenly priced. Cocktails were a bit hit and miss. If you are a light sleeper you should ask for a room further away from beach entrance, the beach club at gate gets power washed every night. Usually starting no earlier than midnight and finishing about 1am!! Location is great. But for the price point not worth it. Better off at the other luxury resorts and pay for taxis or car hire.

Everything was absolutely impeccable at Sir Anthony Hotel! A true 5-star hotel in every sense – excellent services, perfect cleanliness, and a relaxing atmosphere. I felt wonderful throughout my entire stay and I will definitely come back. I would especially like to thank Mrs. Florentina, who was extraordinary! Thanks to her professionalism, kindness, and positive energy, my experience was even more enjoyable. I will surely return because of her as well! Congratulations to the entire team!

As always, our visit to Sir Anthony was excellent. The hotel is beautiful and the location is the best, but it is truly the staff that make this place. Rosa welcomed us warmly, as did Emile and Anna. The food was fantastic at breakfast and lunch but we particularly enjoyed our drinks at the hotel bar before going out and on return. Ignatio, the barman, was great! He made the best personalised cocktails for us. We can’t wait to return!

From the moment we arrived, our experience at this hotel was nothing short of perfect. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, and check-in was seamless and quick. We were even offered a complimentary welcome drink, which was a lovely touch after our travels. The room was immaculate—beautifully decorated, spacious, and with a breathtaking view of the sea. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every detail, from the plush robes to the high-end toiletries, made us feel pampered and relaxed. The breakfast buffet was especially impressive, with something for every taste. We also made time to enjoy the hotel amenities, including the spa. Everything was well-maintained and never overcrowded. The spa treatment we booked was heavenly. What really set this hotel apart, though, was the level of care and attention from the staff. Everyone we interacted with went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and valued. It felt like they truly cared about making our stay special—and they absolutely succeeded.

Wow! From the moment we stepped into Hotel Sir Anthony we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much of a bother for any of the staff throughout the hotel. Check--in is like no other check-in I have ever experienced in my 55 short years of life. You are guided to a table and offered a choice of a glass of Cava, Orange or water whilst Paula took our Passports and went away briefly only to return with our passports and room keys. Meanwhile our luggage was taken to our room. Paula took the time to tell us about our room and informed us of the times for breakfast and told us where it was served she also give us information on the adjoining hotels and how we could use the facilities and restaurants at a discount if required. For my husbands 60th Birthday I had booked one of the rooms on the third floor with its own private sun solarium and plunge pool which was just delightful and we made use of this space morning, day and night. We had opted for breakfast only, which was just amazing. There was a choice, of fruits, yoghurts, cereal, meats, cheese, selection of breads, pastries, fresh juices, Cava and as if that wasn't enough you could also order of a menu. Needless to say my husband and I never ate anything until later on in the evening. The Housekeeping team were great and cleaned our room daily and replenished clean towels, toiletries, tea-bags, coffee pods etc Although we never used the turndown service of an evening, we always got a knock at the door and greeted with a lovely smile and handed fresh towels and a couple to chocolates. On returning to our room on the day of my husbands 60th Birthday we were greeted with a lovely surprise of balloons, a card and a Birthday cake, which we thought was very thoughtful. The location of this hotel is directly on the beach but we never found it noisy. Finally I would highly recommend this hotel and very much hope to return soon.
