Labranda review First of all I would like to say we stayed here in 2024 and thought it was a good hotel for what we paid so decided to return …. But boy were we wrong this time standards have changed a lot , it is not how we found it last year at all , this year we booked 3 adults in room looking forward to lazing around on the sunbeds outside the bungalow how wrong we were we asked for an extra sunbed for the 3rd person only to be told no as there is only enough around the pool for number of guest in the bungalows .. yet every time we passed the pool there were lots and I mean lots of sunbeds free I find it very bizarre that the extra adult in our room didn’t get full facilities to use as the other two guest , although they did supply an extra chair around the patio table so we had to keep switching around on who could use the sunbeds , absolute joke , and not a nice way to treat your 3rd guest and not good customer service to make your guest feel welcomed or catered for , we also found the cleaning not up to good standard this time the floors weren’t mopped properly probably with dirty water on some days as we ended up with really dirty socks from walking g around the bungalow and was our cups on some days weren’t washed by the cleaner and the daily free bottle of water a day is now non existent, so you have to pay for it , the door on the bathroom was so hard to open and got stuck plenty on times , the sofa bed was dirty , plaster was dropping off the wall behind the mural , and the air conditioning unit was absolutely filthy , there was always an awful smell in the reception area , never did find out what it was , the sunbeds around the pool area are so close together and I mean inches apart which made it uninviting as I wouldn’t like to share my personal space invaded to a point where I can smell the suncream on the stranger next to me, staff seem to be so overworked and look unhappy this I can fully understand as they always seem to be chasing their own tail, the restaurant is absolutely awful nothing looks appetising , one night was kebab meat where they were queuing 5 minutes per person for their meat helping, and then go into the rest of the buffet where things weren’t replenished which put your choice down further with things which wasn’t clearly labelled to know what was what, ok so onto the salad which again depending on what time you arrived you got just what was left , same also applies for the sweets. One night was Mexican night , on this particular night we had to scramble for a table , and then only to find there were no plates to put your food on, we decided to wait in the small bar area until things got a little less hectic .. on going back in, there were tortillas with no salsa or guacamole left and no attempt to refill them , some chilli con carne which resembled tinned meatballs cut up in a sauce , the only saving grace was the garlic chicken pieces .. my plate was filled with bits of what was left .. the eating in the rest

Arrived at hotel, staff welcoming and friendly, hotel spotlessly clean, rooms (bungalows) spacious, asked for rooms near restaurant and pools, 3 of them, plenty sun loungers , got great rooms nearby. Had our own patio with 2 sun loungers and table and 4 chairs, still loads room, maid in every day cleaning.All meals buffet style, and freshly made pasta was best I’ve had. All staff were helpful and so friendly, we can’t wait to go back..

We returned here after a successful trip last year everything about this hotel is great it’s relaxing kid friendly clean, staff super helpful. However scored down because we felt the food could be improved it’s good a lot of choice but some not as good quality as last years I appreciate it must be hard to run a place like this and please everyone but we still had a fabulous time. The hotel is about a 40 min walk to PB centre but playa flamingo and some shops / restaurants are closer say 20 mins we walked or use the no 30 bus. I think anyone looking for a good all round relaxing holiday will like it - it’s quite kid friendly so there are a lot kids teens about so probably not as appealing to couples but the pool are operates like 2 areas one for kids where the baby pool is and other side is quieter . Lovely hotel but I do think the food choices need to be reviewed- breakfast is great but lunch and dinner are not as good as they were last year thanks for a lovely holiday though

Lovely hotel. Rooms and areas around the hotel spotless. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Pool bar very good and snacks made to order! Food at buffet just ok everything was cold unfortunately at the buffet and nothing had signs on. Needs a new toaster! Lol Location isn’t great but taxis cost 5€ each way. Would stay again. Rate 3.5 stars not 4.

We had an amazing holiday. Gorgeous weather we went 1st week in November. Our appartment was so comfortable and in a peaceful area. The beds were comfy and the bedding was lovely and clean. The shower was great, I would suggest bringing your own hair dryer the one supplied was not very powerful. The patio contained sunbeds and a table and chairs and was fairly private. The room servicing ladies were so friendly and efficient. All the staff were friendly. English is widely spoken. We didn't use the bars a lot but there were evening games, quiz night bingo etc. The pool area was also very clean. We were impressed with the variety of foods. Plenty of choice, pizza, salad bar, hot food. Breakfast also has good choices. Omelettes made to order. Dinner was varied with theme nights. The restaurant area was lovely, seating inside and out. There is a veranda with a smoking area outside reception. There are about 20 steps to walk up when the coach drops you off if you have any mobility issues. Definitely will be going back next year, can't wait!

We spotted this hotel a couple of years ago when staying at the H10. Chosen due to its proximity to red mountain and boy what a good choice. Rooms are big and spotlessly clean. Outside patio area is a good size and nice for catching a few more rays at the start or end of the day. Agree a little bit away from the touristy buzz but a little walk and you have it all. Mind you, good to walk away from the noise and hustle bustle to the splendour of this hotel. We found the night time entertainment was fine. Singing most nights with a karaoke the other, but who cares cos the quality drinks are available. Amstel on tap? Now that’s a taste of paradise and a lovely touch. Staff are very friendly and front desk staff are lovely, polite and service with a smile. Grounds are lovely and fit in well with the volcano backdrop. Would I come back again? Of course, it’s a lovely hotel and ticked all of our boxes. And finally sunset from the top of red mountain is the most amazing sight.
