Villas Mamma Mia Pool Heat Private & Jacuzzi

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this complex. The photos on the website need updating because the rooms, restaurants and pool areas are nothing like what they show. We had to find our own way to our room on arrival. In complete shock when we entered the tiny room for a family of 4. Two mattresses on the floor for a 9 & 13 year old. The shower room was tiny and toilet was disgusting. Not enough storage for clothes and the air conditioner is placed directly in front of the double bed. On the day we arrived the water went off at 6pm. We were told it would be back on within an hour. After returning from our evening out it still wasn’t working. The morning after we still had no water. When I spoke to the manager about this he told me that I needed to remember that I was in a foreign country and these things happen. He was extremely rude! The restaurant food was rubbish! No taste in anything and almost the same everyday. Same with desserts, repeated everyday. We got told there was no wine even though it was on tap. Again in complete shock with how bad it was. Pool- disgusting!! Around the pool there is some green/ yellow stains that has completely ruined all swimwear. My husband and both children have come home with ear infections. Umbrellas are rubbish then slightest bit of wind and they are off the the other side. Staff in pool bars are friendly and the lovely lady who does food around the pool is also very pleasant, organised and keeps everything clean considering she’s on her own everyday. Entertainment- shocking!! We got reminded by staff that this hotel isn’t a 4 or 5 * Yes! I get that, BUT cleanliness is highly important and guests should still be made to feel welcome. For the amount we paid we expected it to be a lot nicer. We would definitely not recommend this hotel.

I booked a premium room, I’d hate to see the standard rooms. Very tiny, no window, no balcony just a weird outdoor space by the front door which had no sun. The hotel is made up of little buildings, mainly just one storey, which are a little dated. Good location, close to a nice quiet beach with a couple of decent restaurants. Staff were friendly and food was great, loads of choice. The pool was nice and there were two bars and a snack bar. Was ok if u didn’t really want to spend too much time in the room.
