Theros Hotel

We visited the Theros Hotel in July 2024 with family. The hotel is charming, very peaceful and ideal for a relaxing pool/beach holiday. The hotel is small, approx 13 bedrooms. The facilities are all very clean and well maintained. On arrival we were greeted by the hotel manager who was very welcoming, knowledgeable about the local area and spoke very good English. The bedrooms were spacious, modern and clean. Very comfy beds. The housekeeping was done daily and sheets and towels changed every few days. The housekeeper worked very hard each day. There is a small kitchenette area, ok for basic food prep, good fridge. The pool area is lovely, so peaceful. No rush for loungers and often had the area to ourselves. The pool temperature was so nice! There are a few tavernas and a supermarket within 10 min walk, the bus stop is 5 mins walk and services the local area. A hire would probably be an advantage to see the wider area. There are 2 beach tavernas close-by, worth a visit, lovely at sunset. Kissamos beach worth a visit and easy by bus. The hotel has a small bar area for drinks, snacks etc..the food was good and nice ice creams. The bar closes at 5pm so worth bringing water with you on check-in. Overall, a great hotel for a quiet, peaceful holiday.

Just stayed here with my mum for 1 week. The hotel is out of the way of the hustle and bustle of resorts but had a few good shops within 10 minute walk and some proper Greek tavernas. 5 minute walk to the bus stop which can get you anywhere along the North Coast. I would recommend hiring a car to explore more areas though. The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are cleaned daily and are spotless thanks to the amazing housekeeper Barta. Kitchenette has all the basics and the bathrooms are a good size. Only down side is the water pressure. The beds are really comfy too and although they say double, they are actually king size. The pool and pool area is always clean and refreshing after a hot day with a snack bar on site and a good selection of food and drinks. The breakfast is amazing, a mixture of fruit, bread, ham, cheese and pastries and delivered to your room at whatever time you request. We only really had interactions with the owner Soula and staff member Tina who went above and beyond to make sure our holiday was amazing. The other staff were very friendly too. Tina was able to recommend places to visit, sort a hire car for us to be delivered to the hotel and was there for our every need. Soula even stayed around and kept reception open while we waited for our transfer on the last day and presented us with a huge plate of watermelon for free. 2 of the most honest, warm hearted people I have ever met and made us feel like family rather than hotel guests. Will definitely be returning next year and looking forward to seeing all the staff again!

Wonderful hospitality from Soula and her girls. The rooms are wonderfully maintained and serviced. Breakfast was excellent…a banquet! We hope to return either later this year and most definitely next year. Great location..close to beach and tavernas and to TAVRONITIS village for shopping.

Holtel molto carino, non nuovissimo ma tenuto molto bene. La nostra era una camera con vista mare e piscina, pulita e ampia. Presente anche una piccola cucina di quelle a scomparsa. Unica pecca è la difficoltà di fare corrente per fare circolare l'aria. Presente il condizionatore ma non essendo amanti dell'aria condizionata mentre dormiamo abbiamo avuto un po' caldo di notte. Ottima colazione servita solo in camera previa comunicazione dell'orario in reception, abbastanza varia di giorno in giorno. Posizione tranquilla, lontano dal caos e vicina al mare. Sempre vicino al mare c'è una bella passeggiata con due locali molto validi. Molto carina la piscina, non enorme ma che serve al suo scopo. In generale ci siamo trovati molto bene anche grazie alla gentilezza delle proprietarie. Se volete un posto in cui rilassarvi, vicino al mare e pulito questo posto fa per voi.

Struttura bella, nuova. Camera molto spaziosa, con aria condizionata e wifi ben funzionante. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Colazione in camera (unica opzione prevista) varia e di buona qualità. Mare e spiaggia a due passi se non ci si vuole allontanare; possibilità di noleggiare ombrello mare in hotel. Migliorabile la pulizia di stanza e bagno. Non sarebbe male avere la possibilità di fare colazione in un'area comune e con orari più elastici (al momento è prevista solo colazione in camera, a partire dalle 9) e di usufruire di servizio bar anche dopo le 17.
