Porto Platanias Village Resort

We spent an amazing week in Porto Platanias Village. The rooms were spacious and tidy, a lot of delicious food options to choose from, the staff was also very kind and helpful, especially in the restaurant. The hotel Porto Platanias Beach offers a wide range of various activities, including things for kids that our daughter absolutely loved (especially two animators - Hristiana as Elsa, and Tedi as Super Mario). A really nice hotel. A great restaurant, a big varying buffet with fresh food, and nice staff. A bar which is open all day, with a drinks menu with a lot of variety for all inclusive. The rooms were big and there were AC’s - and a TV available. The location is nice, right next to the beach, and the city, which offers a lot of different shops and restaurants. The pool is nice, right next to the bar, and the waterpark has some fun waterslides aswell. I want to give a special shout out to the “Animation Team” especially Hrisi and Stan, who were always in a good mood, and seemed like they really wanted to be there. They like to make a good connection to the guests, which just adds to the overall experience. The only downside to the hotel is that you have to pay to use the sunbeds on the beach, even with all inclusive, and 30€ is a bit steep for the tennis courts. Other than that i would highly recommend

Do not hesitate to book this hotel run don't walk! Food 10-10 something for everyone, a vast choice (even with a fussy eater) Dairy free section, too! On arrival at the restaurant you are asked your room number shown to a table all dressed set lovely, everything is self service food, drinks all help your self! Drinks again 10-10 local alcohol and cocktails BIG shout out to Renay the pool bar man he is absolutely fantastic kind funny knowledgeable a credit to this hotel. Rooms are on the small side (they have a fridge & kettle in them), but you're on holiday. What more do you want?! Beds made everyday room tidy & clean everyday ckan towels every day! even washed a glass up that had been left on the side!!!! On arrival a sandwich box with water was left in the fridge for us. This is one of the most clean hotels I've visited. The staff do not stop! Sunbed are plenty no sunbed wars 😂pools are on the cold side 😂 Everyone is so friendly always say Hello when passing by. Whilst we were here, my auntie had her 70th birthday. we visited the Al a cart restaurant across the road in the sister hotel where the hotel organised a birthday cake, it is the little touches that make all the difference. The only negative is check-in was a palaver the Man didn't seem to know what he was doing and reportedly asked for a credit/debit card with 5k€ on it to which we refused point blank eventually he did the check in and told me to speak with management in the morning! (Which i did and it turned out to be a language barrier and misunderstanding and hed also given us the wrong wrist bands everything was rectifiedthe next morning) We was shown to our rooms as I've said very pleased we them and fantastic holiday was had by all we would absolutely return without hesitation. Perfect location close to transport links into the center, short walk to the beach, out the hotel your on the main strip of shops bars restaurants. Highly recommend 👌

Was here in July as my brother was getting married nearby at a wedding venue. Many of the wedding guests who had kids also stayed in this hotel so overall there were around 25 of us. The hotel was great, staff very friendly and attentive. While here, we also celebrated my nephews 9th birthday and the hotel helped us set up a table at breakfast with balloons and banners. Some wedding guests also stayed in the sister hotel across the road which is a more up market hotel. Pool always busy and did struggle for beds on some days so this could do with improvement. What a fantastic week we had here. The kids and us loved it. After reading reviews here on the run up to going we became nervous about what to expect and I have no idea what any of the bad reviews are talking about. The staff are all lovely and were very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was polite and happy. Especially Eva on the bar. By far one of the nicest people I have met. The water slides were great and kept both kids 5 and 13 entertained all day. We only saw them when they were hungry or needed Suncream topping up. There were plenty of sun beds through out the day never had trouble getting enough even in the sun which was great. The main pool and kids pool by the bar and restaurant has lots of space and bed. At the water park there is a smaller pool and a toddler splash park as well as the slides with plenty of beds. We went all inclusive and everything was included, water park, towels, sunbeds, snacks, unlimited ice cream much to the kids delight and all drinks including cocktails. Never waited long for a drink especially if you wanted beer as it’s on tap you help yourself too. Food was great with fab selection that would vary slightly each day although the kids lived off pizza and chips the whole week. Rooms were fab, great size. Two sofa beds one with a trundle in living room along with wardrobe, table and chairs and kitchenette with everything you would need including waters in the fridge on arrival. Bathroom off the living room and great size bedroom, very comfy beds and en-suite. Balcony was a nice size and over looked the adults only pool which was a good size and again always had plenty of beds. The hotel is right on the strip but very quiet at night and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Fantastic stay and would definitely come again and recommend.

Having read other reviews we were concerned regarding getting loungers by the pool but we never had a problem. Food was excellent and a good variety. Staff were all very friendly. We were AI so free access to the water park which the kids loved and we enjoyed too. Very hot so we did go for a couple of walks in the morning which I highly recommend for the views, olive and orange groves. Highly recommend this hotel had a most relaxing holiday and the boys loved it
