Tesoro Hotel Zakynthos

Just returned home from a week stay with my partner and it did not disappoint. After reading previous reviews we were very skeptical however upon arrival you instantly feel welcome. Location: location is perfect, ignore the other reviews the hill is very mild and not steep at all. To the bottom of the hill you’ll find a full strip of beautiful eateries and bars to drink in. Supermarkets close by which is handy and only 15/20 minutes from the airport which was good. Staff: The staff are friendly and will do anything for you but there isn’t enough of them. With it being May I’m not sure if all the hotel was open but they didn’t have enough staff. Sometimes only 1 member of staff present to serve the whole hotel at any one time. It was frustrating at meal times because all the staff would eat together but whilst people were waiting to be served or needing help so that was annoying at times. The manageress was lovely but she didn’t spend much time checking in on her guests which I feel is important. instead she would be first up to eat at mealtimes and then disappeared into reception once she had finished. This wasn’t great to see. Rooms: The rooms are Definatley up to 4 star standard, small things like; Netflix on tv, fridge, great A/C, slippers, robes and beach towels provided makes all the difference. Very comfortable bed and modern throughout. Food: the food is very standard but was absolutely fine for us. Usually 2 meat options, full salad bar, pasta with sauce and fries ect. The dessert station was fab each time. Ice cream is available to help yourself 247. Breakfast was great full cooked breakfast options along with continental and cereal station. Coffee machines were great and easy to use. Snack time in between meal times wasn’t great and the only thing I would complain about. Cling film wrapped sandwhiches which went soggy and a tray of cake dosent scream 4*. Towards the end they were offering some burgers and pizza slices but not a lot of effort had gone into them and no one looked twice at them. Drinks: The bar opens at 11am and closes 11pm which for an adults only hotel we did feel was a little early but was ok. The beer was terrible which wasn’t ideal but we found the cocktails and wine were just fine so we stuck to these. Feel like for a 4 star they should have a decent larger on draught as standard. Especially adults only. Facilities: the pool areas were clean and there was plentiful sunbeds, although we did find there was more sunbeds than mattresses which was frustrating for people coming to the pool later in the day! We saved sunbeds most mornings as did everyone else. The infinity pool was a nice touch but was absolutely freezing 247 and very small. Nice hotel with nice view, the staff was welcoming, the food was just amazing! Thanks to the chef! I stayed with my friends and we had a lot of fun near the pool and the bar The rooms were clean, we could take taxi right from the hotel and visit Zante Town The sea is also really clean and it’s only 7 minutes from the hotel, Iwant to recommend Tesoro hotel to everyone :)))) The prices are awesome

Great hotel and staff, fresh towels every day. Hotel spotless. Food great for buffet plenty to choose from. Close to everything with in walking distance. Seen reviews from last year and was unsure. But now can see it was some one with bee in bonnet expecting Dubai 5 standards for budget price 😂😂😂 champagne taste with lemonade pockets. I am over the moon with my holiday and will be booking to come back on my next visit 100 % and would say any one wanting to come you won't be disappointed

What a lovely hotel to stay in.Rooms fair size and very clean. Hotel is spotless. Staff all very helpful. Good variety of food to choose from. A lot of happy faces walking around and sat pool side with great atmosphere. Location good, not too far from airport, bars, restaurants, shops and beach. Looking to book again and come back next year for our wedding anniversary.

The food was cold as was the hot water. They overcharge for the holiday tax The pools were dirty . The communal areas were also dirty. There is no entertainment When asked about the lack of hot water my wife was told it was cold because of the bad weather . I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone if I'm honest. Make sure you read the reviews before you book on the TUI website if your travelling with them. There are no REPS here either

Tesoro Hotel - Extremely Poor Booked a late holiday all inclusive at Tesoro Hotel, Tsivili, Zante. From the initial overview things seemed fine as it was clean and the weather was good. Then the cracks started showing. There was supposed to be an evening entertainment programme at the adjoining hotel which covered the "all inclusive". It simply did not happen. The food. Where do we go with this one? On arrival I advised the receptionist and TUI rep of certain allergies. I was informed that the kitchen staff would be made aware to try and ensure thar there was something to have. One evening my options were left at chips and cold spaghetti as everything else contained the two allergens I was up front about. The food throughout the daily meals was clearly reheated on a regular basis, and the selection was abject at best. Definitely the worst buffet options I have ever encountered for an all exclusive holiday. Booked a double room but the bed was made up of two singles pushed together. Now I can get this, but the bedding itself was also for single beds which isn't great for a couple. Also seen one of the most vile things. The first time the shower was used the towels were taken from under the sink where the hotel placed them. I heard my wife shout in anger and disgust. The so called clean white towel had soiling on it. Now whether some prankster that was in the room before us had left this and the hotel had not refreshed the towels prior to our arrival or something else I will never know. Disgusting. I know it's the end of the season and the staffs attitude reflected this. Little to no engagement, constantly on their phones where customers were there to be served. Even noticed one nibbling on chips from the buffet at dinner time in front of guests. There is nothing that can be done for pubs and restaurants closing down and not being available at this time of year, but when you have paid your hard earned money to TUI for a well deserved holiday the very least you would expect would be the hotel you are in to be functioning properly. Value for money has absolutely not been the case for this holiday.
