Caravel Suites - Adults Only

The spa was extraordinary. I’m young so it was my first experience and Dimitra was nothing but lovely and so respectful and the treatment was 5 star!

My husband and I stayed at the TUI Blue Caravel for our honeymoon and requested room 804 (having read some of the TripAdvisor reviews) which was a double room with sea view and private pool. The room itself was very basic as they've gone with a minimalist concrete decor. The private pool was what turned this room from something mediocre to something very special. We had full sea view and were literally a few steps from the beach. The pool in room 804 was huge and a lovely temperature. The beach is tiny, but we didn't have issues getting a sun lounger and umbrella and staff were frequently taking orders for drinks. We really enjoyed the food at this hotel. The usual things like veggies, chips, pasta, salad were on repeat every night, but there was lots of different things on the main grill section every day. We didn't eat the same meal twice. Drinks were brilliant and we were able to take bottles of wine, cocktails and beer back to the room to enjoy by our pool. The evening entertainment was a band/musician every night, and again, staff were very quick to take orders at your seat. The staff worked really hard and always had smiles on their faces.

Really calm and rejuvenating treatment. My husband and I went for the Hydra Face facial and it was the perfect way to end our holiday! Nora and Deopina were wonderful, very gentle and if you needed more or less pressure, they obliged! Lots of variety in treatment here! Would 100% recommend.

Dimitra was the most perfect masseuse. She applied appropriate pressure, removing knots and making me feel so relaxed .

This was our first visit to a TUI BLU hotel and we were mainly impressed. The hotel is very modern in style and had a large infinity swimming pool. We chose to stay in a swim up room, which was a treat. Not all the rooms are equal as our initial room has a terrible drain smell in the bathroom. We did move rooms and the second swim up room was much better. Our room had a stocked mini fridge that was filled daily with soft drinks and beer. The food and drinks selection at the hotel were excellent. The snack bar made fresh to order food and had table service. The main restaurant was a buffet style but always offer a good selection of hot food and very good salads. The location of the hotel is not on the nicest beach and is the thing that lets the hotel down. Overall we had a great holiday and I would recommend a visit.

So many good things to say about this hotel. Our room in the 900 block was lovely. Gorgeous sea view, really spacious, comfy bed. Really clean. Mini bar restocked daily. Food was really really good in buffet restaurant (also a lovely environment to sit in), snack bar and culinarium was a nice treat for a night Drinks were amazing- particularly good cocktail selection. Nice wine too. The staff serving were all fantastic and really made you feel welcome. Wilma in particular is a credit to the team. Entertainment of an evening was mainly ok. Seemed to be repeated after a week though which wasn’t good if you’re there for longer. Pool area and beach area were lovely and the sunbed situation was nothing like previous places I have been. If you were flexible over where you wanted to sit there were always beds around. Comfy sun beds too. Spa and massages were good too and gym although basic was perfectly ok. Fitness classes run by Sara were great tooo. Activities run by the lovely hardworking pair Khalid and Mario were pretty low key but enjoyable - shame the take up wasn’t great. Couple of negatives. Our sons were in the same block as us on the other side and unfortunately had the delights of a really loud pub with karaoke opposite them every night. Tried to change rooms but the lady on reception wasn’t overly helpful (almost to the point of being rude) so we gave up . Also we had requested twin beds for them but they do not exist in the hotel at all. Their room was significantly smaller than ours too. The air conditioning left a lot to be desired in the room too. A minor criticism for me would be the location. The hotel is beautifully situated on the beach but going for a stroll locally wasn’t very picturesque. Absolutely loads of supermarkets, restaurants etc just outside the hotel ground but not terribly pretty. As I say that’s just a personal opinion. Would we go back? Yes I think we would
