Title: Perfect Weekend Getaway at Spyglass Inn, Pismo Beach I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Spyglass Inn in Pismo Beach, and it was a great experience. Nestled in a prime location, this inn offers easy access to the best of the area's natural beauty and recreational activities. Proximity to the beach is unbeatable. Waking up to the serene views of the ocean and the calming sound of the waves was a daily highlight. The beach itself is clean and inviting, perfect for both sunbathing and very peaceful at dawn and sunset.The area boasts several scenic hiking trails. We took advantage of these and were rewarded with breathtaking views and the chance to reconnect with nature. Food options around Spyglass Inn also added to the charm of our stay. We indulged in some local cuisine that was as delicious as it was diverse. From fresh seafood to hearty breakfasts, plus a great steak in Arroyo Grande, 5 min drive. The inn itself provides a wonderful atmosphere to unwind. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, offering all the amenities needed for a relaxing retreat. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed, going out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Overall, our weekend at the Spyglass Inn was a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway in a picturesque setting. Whether you're an avid hiker, a beach lover, or just in need of some peaceful downtime, Spyglass Inn is an ideal choice.

Spyglass is always great. We go for the ocean view, lovely rooms, great location & fire pits.

Fireplace in the room, beautiful views, outside fire pits, restaurant has good food. Beautiful place to stay.

The mattress was terrible! I like a firm mattress but this thing was like sleeping on plywood. There is no air conditioning. Luckily the weather was cool enough, but the room was a little warm at night. The hot tub wasn’t working for 2 of 3 days of our stay and they claimed the pool was heated to 80, but it was more like 72-75 degrees. The view was great however and you could hear the waves crashing at night.

Great location, overlooking ocean with comfortable, clean, updated rooms. Great restaurant on site for breakfast with ocean views.

We had a beautiful stay and enjoyed all the outdoor amenities as well as the restaurant on site! It was absolutely beautiful!

This hotel is located on a ***** of beach that is accessible down a long staircase. There are several hotels along this street. The room we had (basic) was spacious and had a recent cosmetic update but there were many things that were lacking. No microwave in room (there's one in the lobby), small fridge that was barely cool and had a thick layer of ice on the back wall, no freezer compartment, bathroom sink had no hot water despite running the tap for several minutes, there was no A/C and heat unit built in, just an ancient wall heater, room located in a short outside walkway facing a wall. It was clearly the least desirable room on the property. If we had been staying more than one night we would've upgraded as there are lots of rooms with better locations in the property.

Great birthday getaway spot for a few days. Amazing views and seating areas with fire pits. We had great service at the front desk. We were quickly greeted and made to feel welcome. Rooms are above average, clean, newer bathroom. A little noisy with people/kids walking around above us. Restaurant on site was better than expected with decent cocktails and yummy clam chowder. Best part of the restaurant is definitely the ocean views. Will be back for quick relaxing getaways as much as possible.
