Piskopiano Village

We stayed here for 11 nights with two rooms, a two-bedroom apartment for myself, my wife and my 9-year-old, and another apartment for my eldest son and his girlfriend. Our two-bedroom apartment was room 11. It was a good size. There was no sofa or couch type of seating but there was a table with five chairs and two bedrooms. The first bedroom had a double bed and a second bedroom had two single beds pushed together and its in this room that the air conditioning unit was situated. As a result, we had all doors open so that all rooms could benefit from the air conditioning. What I would point out is that the air conditioning here is free and effective and in most other places you have to pay for the air conditioning. On arrival, we were expecting to pay tourist tax for two apartments based on a three-star hotel which is how the hotel was described via Jet2, who we booked with, but in fact we only had to pay tourist tax on the apartments based on the two-star rate. So that was a saving. We also paid €2 per night for the safe in one of the apartments. There was no need for this as the rooms were broadly secure and the cleaning staff were excellent. I wasn't worried about anything going missing and towards the end of the holiday I casually left belongings around such as watches and necklaces and my son's tablet. The rooms are basic. Some of the light fittings didn't have any shades and they definitely are in need of a refurb however they were clean and functional. The bathroom was an okay size. Hot water. The shower cubicle was an okay size but there was no door and so the bathroom tiled floor was constantly soaking after a shower. You really need it to put down the supplied bath mat and another couple of towels. On the subjects of towels. These were changed daily but our room was cleaned every 2 days to a good standard. Final comments on our room are that the we had two balconies, a very small one off the bedroom that had two single beds pushed together. That was on the street and you couldn't really see anything because of a very large tree. But we also had a very large balcony but overlooked the top pool and I think although it's not the most modern, I'm pretty sure that this is the largest balcony in the hotel of all of the rooms. And I rather enjoyed being king of the castle. Staff were friendly. In particular, Ben down at the pool bar. I enjoyed our chats and after buying a drink or two most days he would give you one of his special concoctions in a shot glass. It was a nice touch. He's a friendly guy and I also saw him playing with some of the kids on occasion such as table tennis. There are two pools. Both are very deep. I think the top one is a smidge over 3m and I think the bottom one goes to about 2.99m. Both pools became rather murky during our stay, but we complained to the jet2 representative and noticed that there were management suddenly very visible in the following days and the filtering systems were either twea

We nearly didn’t book after reading the reviews but overall glad we did. Our room was at the bottom of the complex, with lots of steps to carry luggage down, which wasn’t great but we had a nice view of the sea from the terrace. The main positives were that the beds were comfy, lovely location near tavernas and air con kept us cool during the heatwave. Ben at the bar kept everyone happy, with free shots a few times. The standard of the room was not great but given the low price we paid, we weren’t expecting too much. There was a bit of a musty smell the first two days, think it just needed airing after not having people in it before we arrived. Looked like some of the other rooms had been renovated so I imagine these would be a lot nicer to stay in. The shower was a small cubicle with a shower curtain around, very dated but clean. The catering facilities were lacking but we ate out so it didn’t affect us. The cleaners worked very hard, especially having to carry all the linen etc up and down the many flights of steps and ramps numerous times a day in the heat, rooms were kept clean. There are two pools and the bottom pool was very cloudy on a number of the days. A few people complained to reception about it and we mentioned when we checked out. Always seemed to be sunbeds available. Wouldn’t book to stay here again but will definitely come back to the area again.

Just returned from two weeks at Piskopiano Village and once again had a great time. We had be told that there would be major renovations over the previous winter but knew from reviews before we travelled that they hadnt happened. We knew what we were getting so no complaints and once again all the staff were great and the cleanliness was perfect. Its just a pity that the minor issues arent resolved as they would turn perfectly adequate apartments into excellent ones. The view, the location, the surroundings and the staff are all perfect but there is so much more potential to be unlocked. For anyone concerned about wifi, the wifi around the top of the complex and around both pools was good but it was non existent at the bottom part. The good news is though that on our last day some contracters were out and fitted wifi routers/transmitters and there was then adequate wifi at the very bottom of complex.

Amazing place, ignore the bad reviews. The rooms are spotlessly clean and beds/towels changed every day by the loveliest maids. There’s plenty of room by both pools throughout the whole day so no need to reserve loungers as said in previous reviews. Ben at the pool bar is the friendliest guy you’ll ever meet, couldn’t have done more for us! People in the reviews are expecting a 5 star resort, it’s a 3 star so yes there’s some faults like loose fitted taps, plugs exposed and minor issues that don’t effect your holiday at all. I would happily stay here again and I haven’t got anything bad to say about the place. Would highly recommend!

We stayed in apartment 31. Check in was early hours of morning and reception staff were so lovely and welcoming. Apartment was clean and tidy. Cleaned everyday. Had two ring hob kettle and toaster. Plates, bowls cutlery - everything i needed if i intended to cook ( i was not!). Prime real estate view over pool and sunrise in the morning. Ben at the bar was an absolute star. Had late flight but didnt keep room on as staff stored luggage and provided great shower/changing area off reception area. (Beleive there was another one just off pool too) Absolutely loved staying there and will be back. Easy walk to so many tavernas, bars restuarants . 10/10
