Residence Marina Salivoli

Our family (including 2 teenage kids) really enjoyed our stay in this apartment complex. Pros: - spacious apartment with a very nice terrace (including a nice sun umbrella, enough chairs, and beach beds) - nicely equipped kitchen - very clean apartment - sufficiently furnished with the right level of closet space - strong and stable wifi (did I mention I have teenage kids? :) - personable staff at the reception - underground garage a big plus, especially when it's very hot outside Cons: - cannot really think of one apart from the pool being a bit small for the apartment complex of this size (but not a big deal) We appreciated having a car, which gave us flexibility to go to different beaches, especially as the beaches in the immediate neighborhood are quite small. From the shopping perspetive, there are cafes, bakeries, and a bog Coop in a walking distance and the city center of Piombino is 25 mins by foot. A port of Piombino with a ferry service to Elba is just 10 minutes away by a car.

Really good location, near to the sea, with elevator to the beach. Willing and very nice staff. Clean apartment with everything what family with small children should need for vacation. Underground garage included in the price was really perfect in sunny days.

My family and I stayed here for what was supposed to be 2 weeks but we left early due to the lack of service and amenities. The hotel was aware that my mother was extremely sick beforehand and the services we received was nothing short of hostile, apart from one lovely maintenance man. To start there was one pan to cook with, when we asked for this equipment it turned into a hostile debate over this. No kettle or toaster. The bathroom door did not lock, the dryer did not work. The WIFI is absolutely abysmal, for reference we stayed in G40. Upping arrival whilst paying for the apartment, which was extortionate money we were spoken to in perfect English however when there was a problem no one could speak it. I think this may have all been forgiven had the staff been in anyway reasonable or even polite. The apartments are far from the centre and taxi services end at 10pm. I have never felt the need to leave a review good or bad before but this was absolutely horrific. The hostility towards my mother whilst asking at reception certain things was a disgrace. I would absolutely not recommend this apartment complex or Piombino itself to anyone.

Grosse, ruhige, saubere Appartments in schöner Anlage mit grossem Balkon und Allem was nötig ist direkt am Hafen - sehr freundliches und hilfbereites Personal - Hundefreundlich (gibt genügend Spaziermöglichkeiten in der Nähe und einen kleinen Steinstrand am Hafen 10 Min entfernt, wo der Hund ans Wasser kann) - tolle Tiefgarage zur kostenlosen Nutzung - ausgezeichnetes Restaurant in Anlage (Achtung; in Nebensaison nur auf Vorreservation geöffnet & etwas teurer als typische italienische Restaurants) - es gibt einen Pool, Fitness & Tanzschule (nicht getestet) - 10-15 Min Fussmarsch zu grossem Coop, wo man alles bekommt Negativ einzig; - Küche könnte noch einen Wasserkocher vertragen - Möbel zum Teil etwas in die Jahre gekommen (jedoch alles noch in Ordnung) - in der Umgebung gibt es nicht sehr viel Restaurant-Auswahl

Ottima struttura .. noi ci siamo trovati benissimo. Collegata molto bene al mare e ai supermercati . Nelle vicinanze ci sono diverse spiagge e calette da vedere . Si può scegliere tra quelle ben servite con bar e bagno a disposizione e quelle più nascoste e naturali che si possono raggiungere sia a piedi che in auto.
