Jinxuan Hotel

We traveled as a family of five to Pingyao and stayed three nights at the Jinxuan hotel. The stay was an absolute delight, the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful with everything. They picked us up from the train station which made it very easy to find a place. Jinxuan it’s located in the very heart of Pingyao and everything is easy to reach on foot. The facilities are simple and clean, the rooms are located in a very quiet patio of one of the traditional houses in in Pingyao. We stayed in a duplex room that offered lots of space for a family. The breakfast is traditional Chinese and the hosts spoiled us on the last day with some homegrown corn and tomatoes. If you’re looking for an authentic experience, we can absolutely recommend this place. 

I very much enjoyed my stay here and recommend it. The place is charming, and the owners are very likable people. If you are looking for accommodation in Pingyao, this is your place.

This was such a wonderful place to stay with our adult family group. It’s a great location in a quiet part of the walled city, and easy to walk everywhere. The hosts were very helpful correcting us from the railway station. We loved our time here.
