What a beautiful and relaxing hotel. The food was amazing and the service was as well. The staff were always willing to help and provide some tips. The room was lovely and the pillows were very fluffy. I would recommend this as a great spot to rest on your trip. Close to the coastal areas without the crazy amount of people.

A very lovely ambience, fragrant with loads of flowers set in idyllic grounds. The staff were very friendly and helpful! There was good food in the restaurant, and a respectable wine list, all at reasonable prices. Rooms were clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and there was great shower. The signage directing guests to La Casa del Ghiro could have been better, we overshot on a couple of occasions!

Lovely hotel nestled in the mountains in the Campania region, this is a great base for Pompeii, Naples, Sorrento, Amalfi, although you will need hire car/scooter. Our party was 2x 50-69 year old age range and myself and my partner are 26-30 age range. My mother found it difficult with the hilly area and we did require a taxi service out most days, due to the location it is not possible to walk to the nearest tourist spots. We were a bit too scared to hire a car/scooter. This is a relaxing hillside stay, perfect for resting, sunning, lovely pool, does get busier on weekends as I believe the locals also use this pool. Lovely scenery! The restaurant breakfast included is cold meat and cheese slices, croissants, jams, cold boiled eggs, omelettes (plain) bread (no toast) and cake selections (sweets) orange juice/pineapple juice and they do a tea for the brits! Restaurant for evening and lunch, same menu for lunch and dinner, pizza only certain days if week (weekends) would have been nice to have more of a selection however this is Italian menu, I am no seafood fan so this is my own fault/fusses. There is a local restaurant Boshetto near by and this is lovely if you do fancy something different. Free wifi is ok, not the best connection, could be improved as like I said in the mountains, I had zero signal on my mobile phone the whole time in hotel so I relied on wifi to keep in contact with home. Overall perfect stay, rooms clean and tidy, this are traditional farm houses rooms, balcony’s are sweet. The staff reception and everyone else, fantastic, the boss man Lelo helped in every way possible, Flaurentina, she again very quick to help and good English, the pool man lovely and friendly offered to take rubbish and keeps pride in his pool cleaning/tidying services! He speaks no English but is lovely! And lastly our taxi drive for the week Mauritzio he was again so nice and friendly and I can’t thank you hotel staff and their connections enough for a great week away! Would recommend to family and friends and I do give this place a 10/10 😊

We are currently here with the most attentive friendly staff the rooms are clean and warm the food and drinks are absolutely delicious set menu recommendation of only 30 euros basic pizza from only 5 euros some English speaking and very happy helpful staff currently working to prepare for summer Very large function room used this week by a very large group the hotel was packed out Herbs and vegetables growing in on the property every meal tastes of attention to detail all seasoned very well Only Negative that the pool needs cleaning but it’s cool outside I I don’t want to swim Lots of outdoor coverage from the weather A very happy stay many thanks highly recommended

Ieri per caso mi sono trovato in questo ristorante, seguendo un’insegna, mi ha portato in un posto sperduto per una stradina strettissima, il posto non era male c’era pure un venticello piacevole. Abbiamo deciso di mangiare una bistecca ciascuno ma il titolare, ci ha consigliato di mangiarne una dato che le teneva già preparate e si aggiravano sui 600 grammi, quando è arrivata sul tavolo effettivamente era di quel peso poi abbiamo preso un dolce. Chiesto il conto con sorpresa vedo che aveva segnato la bistecca kg 1,100 ho pensato ad un errore ma glielo ho fatto notare alla cameriera, e dopo un po’ è venuta a dire che mi toglieva 9 €, ma non è venuto lui in persona, io non sono abituato a queste cose ma non sopporto gli approfittatori, io ho pagato l’intero importo e ce ne siamo andati. Ma se fosse stata di 2 kg succedeva lo stesso?? E’ buona norma con il cliente essere onesto e professionale e di dire la bistecca non è 600gr. bensì 1,100.Credo che questo lo farà con tutti.

Bij het reserveren niet goed duidelijk dat er geen airco of koelkast aanwezig is. Niet duidelijk dat zwembad van locatie commercieel is voor buurt en scholen. Dagelijks veel lawaai van schoolkinderen en andere 'bezoekers' Gast is niet koning. Focus ligt meer op nevenactiviteiten. Locatie ligt mooi maar er is veel meer uit te halen. Gebrek aan Engelse taal is schrijnend. Personeel is vriendelijk maar onvoldoende geschoold om de gast een tevreden gevoel te geven. Te veel kleine onvolkomenheden. Helaas ....
