Ibis Budget Portishead Marina

Very happy and satisfied with the hotel service and hotel staffs

Not great but it’s a budget hotel, room was bland but clean. 1 night for work so it done the job.

Clean, secure and convenient. Its a budget hotel better than most foreign hotels. Would use again

Staff were genuinely friendly & helpful. Hotel really well located - Lidl & Waitrose on doorstep, a Spoons nearby plus town/marina a short walk.

Clean room, basic but all i needed for my short stay. Friendly staff, very helpful. Near to Marina, shops and restaurants. Would stay again.

Have used this hotel on many occasions. We visit a friend on the Marina. Parking is on a Lidl car park and you register the no plate at the hotel. Breakfast can be obtained at Waitrose or an adjacent cafe. There is a handy bus for trips to Bristol.

Pros: good location, check in staff polite and lovely, next door to two supermarkets, easy parking, easy to control the temperature of the room and lots of hot water when showering. Less good - bed quality - mattress a little soft. More noise than expected in the room coming from the street but didn't prevent sleep. Overall felt good value for the price paid and better than many budget chain hotels.

Great no frills hotel. could have done with a bit of hoovering in the room otherwise great

This was the second time I have stayed in an Ibis in Italy and it was really nice, however this time it was just ok. It was very basic and the building and rooms are very tired. It was clean and the facilities were ok. The room was really hot - in fact the heater was set to 24 degrees when I walked in which seems very wasteful as the heating had clearly been on for hours beforehand. If all rooms are like this then the energy being wasted is going to be incredibly high. The staff I spoke to were nice.
