Shunli Hotel

It exceeded our expectations. Friendly, polite staff, cleanliness 150/10, we even had breakfast added to our booking once we arrived even tho it originally was not included when we booked. Every mornning there are different Thai food choices and bread that you can toast and add butter and jam. Hotel is located in the center of Old Town Phuket, and just 2 short streets away there are busses leading to the beaches. Also, when there is a night market in Old Town, it's just 2 min down the street from the hotel. Phenomenal place, everything that was said in preview and shown in pictures matched and even looked better in person. This was our first trip to Phuket and we opted to be a bit away from all the craziness of Patong and we loved every single second of it. Near hotel is everything you would need: coffee shop, pharmacy, bunch of stores and a bit hidden markets for all your shopping desires, and there is a very good mid ranged bar/restaurant at the end of the street where we ate couple of times. We also had very good wifi in the room, change of towels/cleaning of the room daily, we had hair dryer as well. Beds are comfy, and every day we received 2 bottles of water. Shower was big and had both hot and cold water. If we could give this hotel 100000 out of 10, we would. It truly made our Phuket trip even more peaceful and memorable and every staff member we met we will remember for making us feel at home.

Everything about our two night stay at the Shunli met or exceeded our expectations. Our hostess was very welcoming, warm, hospitable, spoke good English, and went out of her way to take care of us. She stored several bags for us for a few days, she arranged reliable taxi service for us to go to the harbour and the airport at the best prices we encountered, she walked us down to an ATM when we had trouble finding one, mailed a letter for us, and recommended local restaurants. She efficiently runs a very nice and scrupulously clean B&B in Old Phuket, only a few blocks from the fresh market and within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and tourist sites. When you enter from the street, you leave your shoes at the door. Our room (upstairs, facing the street) was clean, modern, generous in size, and had a comfortable large, firm bed, a nice balcony, a mini-fridge, free wifi, AC, good storage, a drying rack, and modern bathroom with shower, lots of hot water. Breakfast is provided on the main floor, lots of choices both Western and Thai including eggs cooked to order, self-serve coffee, juice, toast and buffet items. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when I return to Phuket.

I had a wonderful stay at the Shunli Hotel in Phuket, Thailand. Despite its two-star rating, my experience surpassed all expectations for this quaint B&B in Phuket Old Town. The Deluxe Double Room with Balcony was charming, clean, and provided a cozy atmosphere. The homemade breakfast prepared by the proprietress Khun Thom and her sister, Khun Pong was THE highlight of my stay, offering a fresh and delicious variety of southern Thai seafood dishes every morning. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job, ensuring a spotless room with fresh linens every day. The family running the B&B, made me feel valued and provided excellent recommendations. The hotel's location was convenient for exploring Phuket's attractions. Overall, my stay at Shunli Hotel was memorable, and I highly recommend it to others. I look forward to returning in the future.
