It’s a nice hotel to stay with kids for reasonable price. Suite room with kids it’s good. Breakfast is quite busy. Beach is 5 min walk. Water is very clean!

No good breakfast; old rooms and very poor service. This hotel is overpriced for the quality which is offered. Good thing is the location nearby Surin Beach and the hotel water / pool area with slides.

Furnitures are very old. Actual room was differed on the reception.

The hotel is very near to Surin beach with cristal clear sea.Breakfast is not bad,but not wonderful.Last day,because our flight is at late night time,they provide late check out and they provide a room just have shower and change clothes.Staff is polite.

Lovely hotel, great location, delicious food and the staff were so kind to us. We will definitely be back again! The beach (surin beach) is right beside the hotel and is nice and quiet, very suitable for families. The area also has nice restaurants and 711, which has just about everything you need!

Dear Hotel Manager, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the room arrangements made for my family during our stay at Holiday Inn in Phuket, booked through Trip.com. I had specifically booked two rooms for my family, which includes young children and an elderly family member with mobility issues, to enjoy a comfortable and stress-free holiday. However, upon check-in today, January 28, 2025, I was shocked to find that the rooms were arranged in completely different and distant locations within the hotel. This arrangement is both inconvenient and unacceptable, as it fails to accommodate the specific needs of a family traveling together. It is particularly troubling given the limitations of one of our family members who requires close support due to mobility challenges. Such an arrangement feels discriminatory and contradicts the concept of a "family-friendly" or "family-connected" hotel, which is what I expected when I made the booking. I request an immediate resolution to this issue, including reallocation of the rooms to ensure they are in close proximity to each other. Additionally, I urge you to review your policies and practices to prevent similar situations from happening to other families in the future. Great location in front of Surin beach. Good and friendly service. Double bedroom for families is spacious and comfortable.

We weren’t too happy with the food, the fried rice was good, the beds are a bit too hard, we asked for a different room and they said they were fully booked, we checked out 2 days early cause they had water pipe issues and failed to inform their guests and upon checking out they offered us a different room. They didn’t even want to refund one night at least.

The family room is handy if you are traveling with children. The location is handy and close to Surin Beach. However, the hotel is in a rather poor condition and the staff are not helpful. We stayed for almost a week and had to remind them to do housekeeping every single day for at least once (and up to 3-4 times) Hotel only gives out pool towels during 8-9am. First time for me to visit a resort that has quota on pool towels (I do however understand this is one way to keep the laundry cost down). My kids are upset that nobody answer the free popsicle phone. Seems to me that hotel owner has not invested much on maintenance (pls refer to photos).

Old hotel, but still nice, staff is trying their best. Location is nothing to do. Wouldn’t really recommend except you come for a week on the beach. 1h from city center

Check in was an awful experience. A family of 4 with 2 children, 4yo & 10 months old. We were waiting for nearly 2 hours with no complementary. I can see that the staff was trying their best to accommodate. They gave us false impression of “how long we needed to wait”, so we didn’t go anywhere to relax but kept waiting. Finally, we were assigned to an abandoned room. Stepping inside the room, we could tell nobody stayed there for at least a month or two. The floor , though we believed was mopped , was covered in thick black dust. Our allergies symptoms kicked in right away. We informed the front desk, they sent a maid to clean but again, this room needed a “deep cleaning, scrubbing, and air conditioning cleaning,etc.”. We put up for a night and decided to request a new room. We didn’t plan to pay in order to suffer during our holidays. The staff was absolutely helpful and I’m impressed with how hey handled the whole thing. They could definitely improve on the overload bookings and food. Don’t recommend the breakfast here unless you want to give it a try and see if they are better or not. It’s a budget hotel after all. The location is great and the staff are super helpful.
