I visited the AC Biltmore recently on a business trip. Originally, my work scheduled called for me to stay for 6 nights. Approximately halfway through my stay, my work schedule changed and I asked about departing after 5 nights rather than 6. I was told by a front desk associate named Rosa that I would have to pay a $380 early departure fee for simply trying to change my stay from 6 nights to 5 nights. I travel very frequently for work and as of this stay at the AC Biltmore, I had 63 nights spent at Marriott properties so far in 2024. I was told by Rosa that my Marriott status had nothing to do with avoiding the early departure fee. I am just dumbfounded that this property would treat loyal Marriott customers the same as a person staying with Marriott for the first time. Apparently, LOYALTY is a one-way street with them. If you have a choice, please take your business to a nearby Hilton or Hyatt property.
