Sundance Inn & Saloon

房間非常簡陋，和圖片介紹相差太大了，空調製冷效果也不好，床上就鋪了個床單，被子就是件和床單差不多的單子，沐浴露洗髮水也沒有，牙刷牙膏沒有，拖鞋沒有，晚上有蚊子，很無語！！！給後邊的提個醒！

The last time I was there I ordered a beer and nothing arrived. I went over the road to drink which was just as well because the guitarist was so deafening I was better to hear him in a bar 25 yards away. The visit before the draft beer was undrinkable. You can tell the expats in this bar because they all drink cans. They know the draft beer is usually foul. Quite frankly this bar has rarely been managed by an effective foriegner, and it needs a foriegner to run it. The Kymers either cannot or will not.

Staff were amazing and could not be more helpful but the hotel was impossible to locate as it had no sign and was different to the Google maps photo on street view. The room was basic and there was mould in the fridge and bathroom, the shower would flood the entire bathroom after a mere minute, paintwork was chipped and falling to bits and there were holes in the wall that looked to be filled in with some sort of hardended gel? The hotel itself was cluttered and unclean, we also saw a rat coming down the stairs from the 3rd floor to the balcony on the second floor, because there is no door to the 3rd floor as the stairs are outside and there was a full bin with a food container on the floor for left for over 24 hours. It's a cheap hotel but I won't be rebooking any time soon.

While I had been to Cambodia before The Plague, I hadn't been to Phnom Penh. So when my friend from Siem Reap relocated to the capital, it was only a matter of time. Bill suggested his and his colleagues' local watering hole for the base of operations. Pricing at around 25USD a night was okay on the face of it, with a huge room with sitting area and decent ensuite bathroom. However, it was all a bit "tired" and really needed a decent lick of paint and a solid scrubbing, with water leaks in passageways taking away what little ambience it could muster, being on a road backing onto private accommodations. Having said that, I was on the first floor as requested due to my disability, and the staff were professional and convivial down to the guy taking out the rubbish in the morning. The cleaners, the bar staff, the owner Harry, all smiles and welcoming. Local draught beers are $1 a pint, bottles will set you back $2-4 depending on origin. Spirits from around 3-5. As I live in SEA and having eaten only Thai and Lao food for the last six months, I eschewed the local offerings and, over the few times I ate there, was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meals. Chicken breast with a carbonara sauce, beef burrito, and a Texas burger, all went down well. The one meal I did have of Cambodian origin left me a little let down as I hadn't had it before and it was a fairly innocuous, bland meal. I'd have been better off with a few tacos and an extra beer! The bar caters for expats as reflected in their bar menu but locals enthusiastically use the pool table, especially for the weekly cash-prize competition. As with all my travels through Cambodia, English is widely spoken. Not surprisingly, I suppose considering the whole place had to be rebuilt from the ground up by the UN and neighbouring countries, and over a third of the country are under the thirty years old! I'll be back for the food, drinks, and a**osphere, but I'll up my accommodation to a four-star establishment with a pool next time.

Decided to head to Sundance tonight hoping for a few drinks, food and maybe a game of pool. Had stayed there a couple of times some years ago when they were about the only place in Riverside in the lower price range with a swimming pool and had a good stay and enjoyed bar and food. Still a good space open to the street so you get some air and can watch the passing parade, pool table still there. Limited but adequate menu not the cheapest in the street but not expensive. Ordered a Pina Colada, no have , tried Mojito no have, both on the menu. Really in a place like Phnom Penh if a bar doesn’t have the makings for a Mojito you send someone out to get them. Decided to head down the street and found a place with a big cocktail menu at a lower price. Doubt will go back to Sundance.

Although the staff was great and did anything you asked the rooms are not great. But you get what you pay for . The pool was dirty and full of rats so i didn't want to use it. Food was great in the bar though but full of dirty old men but all of phnom penh was so couldn't wait to leave the country. Best thing about the stay was the food and staff.

Hotel is well situated around a lot of bars and restaurants while the rooms are still nice and quiet. The bar attached was a great a**osphere.

The dirtiest place i ever seen. I had to book other hotel because the room was too dirty.

I enjoyed my night staying here it has nice clean rooms, the bar downstairs was quite nice i also enjoyed swimming in their pool,their breakfast was very good aswell.I recommend this place to whoever is staying in phnom penh its nice, affordable and high quality.
