Great Place to Stay - Army Graduation from Basic Training We loved this property and the hosts were amazing. It's a little quirky (the layout is on the odd side), but it comfortably slept five of us and provided the space we needed. I wanted to leave a few bits of information for those utilizing this property for seeing their loved ones graduate from Army Basic Training. First of all, if you're making your reservations at the beginning of your loved one's basic training, before knowing exact graduation dates, family day takes place on the Wednesday of graduation week and graduation takes place on Thursday. You'll want to plan on being there on Tuesday night as family day starts at 10:00 am and they want families to be at the gate around 8:00 am. As of this writing (April 2024), the East Gate is open from about 5:00 am - 8:30 am. That means if you plan on arriving at the gate after 8:30, you'll need to go to the main entrance (the north gate), which is about a 35 minute drive from the property. You can take your soldier to the property on family day as it is within 50 miles of base. Graduation takes place at the parade grounds (which is about 35 minutes from the property if you're using the East Gate) at 10:00 am and then you'll have your soldier again for the day. Consequently, I would plan on leaving on Friday. I hope this helps. Enjoy your stay!

Cute rustic getaway Great place to stay, had a Christmas family gathering and managed to fit 6 adults pretty comfortably.

Great secluded siesta Great secluded siesta, if you need to travel to town often. It wont be for you. Accuracy is = no hottub

Nice, quiet property We stayed here while attending Family Day and Graduation for our daughter at Fort Leonard Wood. Drive was a little further than expected, but it was a beautiful trip and not outside of reasonable. It was a very quiet neighborhood and we much appreciated not being in the middle of a city.

Missouri stay Location was perfect for our family reunion we had in the same town

Weekend get away We all really liked this place. We will be returning if Chad will have us.
