Thalassa Boutique Hotel & Spa

Great staff and service especially the Nepalese staff - Harry the chef and the bar waiter were so attentive. Receptionists were so great. Everyone was so lovely and friendly and helpful. Rooms a little dated and air con was poor. Had to get shower head replaced and was cracked and full of dirt. Maintenance team were super lovely and a new one was sorted. Beautiful location next to coral bay avenue with great bars and restaurants. Taxis available quickly and cheap. Two beaches- the one attached to the hotel needs a big update as too much litter and beds are old. The other one next to the sister hotel was lovely and much better condition. Excellent food and good drinks. Comfortable beds and great cleaning service. No iron available in the rooms and no ironing laundry service provided which is a big let down of the hotel and this needs to be sorted.

Lovely hotel with beautiful views. Had a fantastic 9 days here. All of the staff are absolutely lovely and friendly, but big shout out to Aristos and the restaurant staff who are great, always happy to chat. Liked hearing Aritos stories and talking football with christopher.

Stayed here in May this year with my dad for a week. We both loved the hotel and would go back tomorrow if we could. The place is beautifully decorated and kept exceptionally clean. I wanted to mention the lovely Sanjay and Larissa in the restaurant, the friendliness of the chefs, the reception staff and the kindness of the pool attendant who made sure my dad stayed out of the sunlight as he snoozed by the pool. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Just about to leave this beautiful place & wanted to say what a lovely stay we've had. The hotel is in a stunning location. There's 70 odd steep steps to go up / down to the beach , but so worth it as the sea is crystal clear & perfect for a swim. I think some hand rail(s) are needed at the top as a fall could result in a nasty injury. I hope the hotel picks up on this. Mostly peaceful but a couple of party boats arrive in the bay for a few hours every day , some are quite loud & some you wouldn't know are there. This is outside & nothing to do with the hotel , but it's a shame as it momentarily spoils the peaceful ambiance. There's also a beach bar across the bay & it has very loud music sometimes. Good thing is , peace returns late afternoon, maybe because its a residential area. The food here passed all expectations. I enjoyed the freshly cooked a la cart meals provided as it wouldn't have been cost affective with the hotel being approximately a third full. All staff are lovely. Aristos ( sorry if I've spelt that incorrectly) is a star. I was concerned of the welfare of the cats that roam the hotel grounds. They're well behaved & he tells me he feeds them & they look well fed. There's also a shelter across the way from the front of the hotel for them to get food & water that's looked after by a charity who visits every day. As a cat lover , I felt better for this !! I'm sure the bar area will get busy as the season progresses, drinks are reasonably priced & service was great. We walked to sister hotel but that was extremely busy , we preferred the haven here so walked back. Also visited ' Ledgends ' cheaper drinks etc busy but not for us. We had a wonderful 5 night stay for my birthday & I would most definitely love to return one day. Perfect weather, hotel ambiance & staff made it for me! The casual get together on Monday evening where we met Andri the lovely manager was a realy nice gesture too. Would thoroughly recommend it here for a relaxing , adults only holiday. Just wonderful 😊

I recently stayed at Thalassa, and it was fantastic! The location is stunning with breathtaking coastal views! The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, perfect for a tranquil retreat. The staff were very friendly ! The room was clean and spacious with amazing sea view. I highly recommend Thalassa for a peaceful and luxurious escape.

With the hotel only reopening recently and not many reviews, we were wary. However, there was no need at all. A warm friendly welcome awaited us and a meal had been put in our room as the buffet was closed. We decided to drop our bags, have a couple of drinks and enjoy our food after. The rooms are clean and delicately decorated. Calm and quiet. The beds are the most comfy we’ve ever slept in. We had clean towels every morning and e every evening, that’s service. The restaurant was immaculately looked after, not overflowing with food and with courteous, friendly staff. Nothing was too much. Tables are inside or out and all set for couples, this is definitely a romantic hotel but also serene, calm and the spa treatments are amazing. There is bar service around the pool from the friendly bar staff. We stayed AI and good we did as there isn’t much around the hotel and it’s a way from Paphos itself. Sunbed were comfy,, always plenty available whatever time you ventured out. The position of the hotel is perfect, sat at the end of the headland, overlooking the beach and sea. Our room overlooked the pool and we ever heard a sound once inside, just what we needed. The pace is relaxed, the staff are first class and we can’t wait to return. As it was Easter, guests received a wrapped Easter basket in their rooms, a lovely thoughtful gesture

Unfortunately there are still ‘live’ sites on the web advertising availability at this hotel. Having been one of the hotel’s last visitors in September 2019, at the time Thomas Cook collapsed and pre covid, the hotel has since been closed, abandoned and consequently is NOT NOW AVAILABLE. CAVEAT EMPTOR!
