Premier Inn Peterborough City Centre Hotel

Nice room but unfortunately there was no staff pass 6 pm in the evening to ask about a late checkout, I tried calling instead the customer service number and it rang for ages with no response and then cut itself off. Delivery drivers were making noise the next day at 7:30 am which woke me up but I suppose I had to be up at some stage but not ideal after a night out for a Christmas party They wasn’t prepared for breakfast. The waitress told me they just had a lot of people few minutes ago but looking at the hotel tables it wasn’t that packed and everyone’s plate was virtually empty so I didn’t believe that for a minute. As she went into the kitchen she apologised again and said they’ve only got one chef and one oven not what you want to hear when you having to wait 10 minutes to complete your breakfast order Other than that the room was quite good and spacious with a really comfortable bed. It’s just the same about the letdowns

Absolutely amazing stay. Staff are incredible and welcoming. Breakfast was brilliant. I am fussy with food and have never liked the yolk of eggs they were able to do poached eggs without the yolk for me. Would definitely stay again. Nothing was too much trouble

Very comfy bed and pillows. Great location too. Our room was on the premium plus floor. I came with my family and they have very positive feedback as well. Lorraine made us very comfortable and welcomed. Bery nice vews from the room and restaurant.Will DEFINITELY book again!!!

The beds are large and comfortable as expected at a Premier Inn. The rooms are well set out as typical for this brand. Now the negative bits. The restaurant was poor. The staff were disorganised. Our starters arrived with no cutlery or condiments. One of the mains arrived 30 minutes after the other 5 had finished. The final dish arrived 5 minutes later. One person with an allergy was offered plates which would have caused reactions. The apologies were poor. I would not choose to eat there again.

The service and the rooms were fantastic. Rooms nice and quiet and was able to change the room temperature to the heat I enjoyed. The breakfast, and the service that came with it, was beautiful. They kept the crossiants warm and there was a plentiful supply of other continental breakfast. The hot part was really good too, the chef Toby was able to do lovely poached eggs which were perfectly runny. The server we had, Lorraine, was terrific and so helpful. She was a very friendly face. The other staff, Kate and Warren were also helpful if needed. 100% would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

A beautiful clean hotel with extremely comfortable beds and a great breakfast. The parking is a bit expensive though. £14 per night with discount. We always use this hotel when we visit Peterborough because we find the prices very reasonable.
