Premier Inn Peterborough City Centre Hotel

Hotel was lovely, rooms clean and comfortable. Great location. Good breakfast. Only issue was no baby change facilities in the hotel lobby and our room wasn't available for an early check in at the time we arrived. Had to change my baby in reception on sofa. Not hotel staffs fault but maybe a changing station could be put in the accessible toilets.

Lovely and clean hotel. Food was great, service was quick. Staff are very friendly. Celia helped me out with a query I had and she was really friendly and made me feel at ease. I would 100% return again in the future. It is also a great location for things to do.

Lorraine and Kirsty were so friendly and attentive every moment at breakfast. I did ask for towels at reception and asked coffee I collect n my return but there was no one available at around 11:30pm. Also my room had a strange smell? Drain like?

Had a great stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly and kind, the moment I checked in. Room was the warm and clean. I always like the fact that they have extra pillows in room which I like. Breakfast was plentiful and staff were attentive to my needs. I got my gluten free toast each morning. The one minor thing was contacting the hotel before my stay. I rang a couple of times and no-one picked up. When I queried the staff about this when I checked in, they said that do not pick up phone as they the get too many wrong calls. If this case, maybe put an email as a contact point rather than a phone.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and modern feel. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. The room was the usual standard- comfy beds and good facilities. Decent sized car park if you are driving and convenient for the station, if not. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is kept to a high standard. Car parking out the front is payment parking, even for Blue badge travellers! land owed by different controlling company to Premier Inn. 24 hours 16:00. However as instructed by the reception manager, each time you leave this car park, another charge on return??. Surrounding car parks are council controlled. The Lido car park a little walk away was our best option. Why?, because total cost 7:50 and that was using a Blue Badge. This car park gave a free one hour for Blue badge users. Back to hotel. Rooms were clean and tidy, basic provision, kettle etc. No issues with the room. Food was of a good quality. Make sure you order breakfast, as the queue and busy (9 am). Food cooked, breakfast was well cooked, and tasty, eggs poached or fried. All was hot and fresh tasting. We were hosted by: Lorraine, Kate and the chef, John. Made welcome and could not do enough for us, our gratitude for the kindness shown. Overall a great place to stay and explore the Roman town and architecture of Peterborough, under estimated place of interest. Car parking though while available is expensive and all have different tariffs, read the signage or ask! The hotel allows 20 minutes for drop off of luggage.
