Seesaw's Lodge

Just returned from a long weekend at Johnny Seesaw’s. We had the pleasure of staying in the Cherry Suite with a great view of Stratton in the distance. Great location to ski multiple resorts in the area. The common area was a nice place to enjoy coffee in the morning. Johnny Seesaw’s restaurant was delicious with very professional staff. We will return.

Absolutely perfect. As described- well thought out - clean as can be and jusy amazing. No place I’d rather be . Contactless entree and exit. Kitchenette in our cabin- bedding is top notch- the place is delicious in every level. We had the most scrumptious robes - the restaurant is also fabulous.

Perfect weekend getaway. Josh was outstanding helping us during our stay and making some fantastic dinning suggestions. We stayed in the butterfly cabin, which allowed for comfort and a stunning sunrise. Although it was a rainy weekend we had a lovely time! We will definitely be back

What an amazing transformation. The restoration and rebuild of this old haunt is incredible. Lots of great memories at the old place, looking forward to many more at the new. Room was well appointed, bed very comfortable. The restaurant Johnnie Seesaws was written and inviting. Food and service were great

Amazing lodge resort!! Will stay here every time we come to Vermont! Great for us as a couple with baby and for a family with multiple rooms. accommodations were amazing rooms were perfect!! Shower and shower head were amazing!!!! Highly recommend!

My primary reason for our stay at Seesaw’s Lodge was family history, because the inspiration for the name “Johnny Seesaw” came from my grandfather “Ivan” Carl Sesow, a Russian immigrant who was the proprietor and builder of The Wonder View Log Pavilion. My secondary reason was to check off an item on my “bucket list”: experience Kim & Sean’s reconstruction of the property. Our “Stick Season” mini vacation was divine perfection. The modernization provided everything from a beautiful central great room with access to a complete kitchen and cozy fireplace sitting area, where we enjoyed hot cider and cookies, while conversing with other guests whose stays focused on skiing. There was also a spacious mud room entryway, a game room with pool table, and washer/dryer. We stayed in the Birch Room (my favorite tree) with French doors opening onto a covered deck. The gas fireplace kept us warm and cozy as we slept on gel-cooled mattresses with cotton blankets/down comforters. The bathroom had things like a dual flush toilet and 6-foot tub/shower with both shower head and wand ( which I have at my home). Hot water was instantly on, water quality was superior to where I live, and the lavender bath products were high quality. Plenty of towels!! Custom closet with built in drawers even provided a stepping stool for shrimps like me as well as cozy robes. Next visit I’ll grab a toothbrush, pack lightly, and head to the Green Mountain National Forest. I have always loved my Vermont birthplace and now I love Sesaw’s Lodge. P.S.
