Travelodge Perth A9

an overnight stop on a long journey from Orkney to the midlands. A great place to pause and sleep! Good food at pub next door!

I booked in advance, a family room to stay Saturday overnight to participate in the Etape Caledonia early Sunday morning. However due to family members with other commitments, I ended up coming up alone and had room all to myself. This is not my first time staying in Travelodges. As a road cyclist, I always seek out Travelodges to stay because they are always consistently excellent, as this one in Perth A9 was too. I would happily describe the stay as great value for money, clean, comfortable, well equipped in en-suite room with kettle and coffee making, and with TV. Very plush comfortable mattress and pillows with crisp clean white bed linen. As I drove, it was important to have the free onsite Carpark. However the outstanding most important feature of Travelodge Hotel chain policy is the allowance for clients to bring bicycle into room. And for this reason I always plan to seek a Travelodge to stay when I have my precious road bicycle with me. For all the above reasons, if there is a Travelodge nearby where I wish to stay, especially when I am cycling, I do not need to look elsewhere, it will be my first choice. A fine base to attend the event in Perth. The annual Scottish National Scale Modelling Championships.

We have stayed here previously so knew what to expect the staff are lovely it's clean and comfortable with good parking and the location is good

Pretty decent Hotel in a nice location. Rooms and shower etc are fine. Must give a shout to Brea on Reception, she always has a smile and a kind word, she's a ⭐. Beds reasonably comfortable, but that's down to individual preference. Meals can be had at the Pub/restaurant a few steps away.
