Elix, Mar-Bella Collection

Me and my wife enjoyed a lovely family holiday with our 4 boys. Magical surroundings and stunning views. The hotel in itself was awesome. We had booked 2 junior suites with private infinity pools overwatching the sea. The rooms lived up to all expectations. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helping. We had halfboard accomodation with breakfast and choice of either lunch or dinner buffet included. Good choice and we could easily switch lunch with dinner to suit our schedule and evening arrangements. We visited Perdika village 2 nights and Parga one night. Both places definitely worth a visit. The Karavostasi beach below the hotel was also beautiful. Loved the stairs down to beach (recommend the 234 steps instead of using the dedicated beach elevator. Good training). Great that sun beads and towels were all included, no fight in the morning to get the “best spots”. Service at beach was also outstanding. The only little dis-appointment, if any, was our experience at the fine dining restaurant (the Pearl) the last evening. The food was not really in our taste. Traditional Greek cuisine. It was not bad food, just not in our taste. Maybe a bit too “special” for us. Our boys were in age 12 to 26 and all loved the place. There were some families with younger kids. Sometimes a bit loud but far from the “noisy” experiences you would have in a typical “family resort”. All in all I can really recommend Marbella Elix. Would love to come back again. The private infinity pool made that little extra difference. Marcus with family

In a nutshell… we loved everything about the hotel but thought the food was not quite the standard we expected - you will eat and feel satisfied, but not come away from meals saying it was amazing. If they improved the quality of the food a bit more, then this place would be absolutely fantastic. Pool, location, rooms, views etc all great and the feeling/vibe around the hotel is very chilled. Little surprised there was no evening entertainment given it’s a family resort - also FYI you only get the meal out of the resort if you stay a minimum of 7 nights or more. Again, food decent but not memorable/high quality. Their indigo restaurant most of the food is frozen, whereas Pearl is better - not high end, just better. Can’t decide whether we would return or not

The hotel and staff are exemplary. The hotel is in a fabulous location, it really is beautiful, the grounds and communal areas are spotless, service by all staff is second to none, they work tirelessly to make sure you have everything you need. The food is great, the speciality restaurants wonderful and the cocktails are fab! Evenings are very relaxed with just one bar, and usually a singer. The hotel is remote, there is nothing within walking distance other than the beach. We were looking for exactly that so it’s been perfect. The only downside to the hotel is the amount of children! In hindsight I probably should have booked an adults only hotel, and will definitely do that in the future. There are a lot of children and whilst they are ‘mostly’ well behaved there are a few that are not. We have had balls under sunbeds and hitting us a few times…. A day! It hasn’t ruined our holiday just made us think adults only will probably be better for us now we don’t have children with us. Would I come back, probably not to the Elix but we are already looking at the adult only option in Corfu. The owners and staff of this group of hotel have got it spot on!

Wonderful hotel, great food. Staff and management were amazing. Huge thanks to Mr Yiannis (GM) and all his team. Special thanks for outstanding friendly service to Aliki and Valentina in the Ruby bar, Jo, Nicos and Silva at the pool bar and Giannis in the buffet. All the backroom staff, cleaners, chefs made it a holiday and location to remember forever.

A beautiful hotel with stunning views, incredibly friendly staff, peace and quiet whilst still being suitable for children. My partner and I have been this year for our third time. The second time with our 7 month old son and our third time as our honeymoon. The food is the best I’ve ever known for an all inclusive, the buffet and 2 restaurants too. This time, I had a head and neck massage from the spa and it had to be one of the best massages I’ve ever had. They took time to know what pressure I like and even gave a Greek tea and face cream after the massage (which I ended up buying two bottles of!) We couldn’t leave here without booking our trip for next year! Thank you to the wonderful team for making every holiday special but particularly this time for making our honeymoon a trip we will never forget!

Honestly not sure how to write this review. Couldn’t fault the hotel. Everything was exceptional. Special al thanks to all members of staff. An incredible team of people providing the highest standard of service in the most beautiful location. I certainly would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Don't know where to start, the most incredible holiday we've ever had, from the moment we arrived, we were handed a complimentary drink and talked through everything we needed to know, nothing was too much bother, the staff, from the cleaners, to the bar staff and beach staff, were the friendliest people we've met, after a while, the staff even knew what we were drinking and just brought the drinks over, amazing service, beach was beautiful, the funicular down to the beach is incredible as it's a tiring walk without it, great idea, food was 11/10 every day, been treated like royalty here, genuinely heartbroken to leave, wish we could stay forever, beautiful place, amazing staff, special shout to Aggeliki on the beach bar, would give a 20 start review if we could

The most beautiful stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and so kind, they made such an effort to remember people and their room numbers as well. The food was UNBELIEVABLE - how the chefs managed to perform in both quantity and quality was wonderful. The hotel itself was idilic, the views of Paxos and Corfu were incredible and every room has this view. The dipping pools outside our room made us feel like we were on our honeymoon. There is nothing to fault about this place - just wish we could have stayed longer.

Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with a wonderful staff team who genuinely want you to have the best experience. The hotel itself and the location is stunning. We loved the beach with its bar and waiter service to your sunbed. The rooms are large, beautifully furnished and immaculate. They all have sea views and they are truly glorious. Food in the buffet restaurants is of a good quality. Service is very good. Again, the staff are so good and genuinely care. However, the hotel has one major flaw. Badly behaved kids. Peeing and pooping in the one pool rendering it useless and spoiling what should be a relaxing premium holiday that people have paid ££££s for. If you're a beach person you have an alternative but not everyone likes the beach so if you prefer a pool, for two days of your holiday you can't use this facility. The other things the hotel could do to improve would be to increase the shuttle service and make it more regular. We loved Parga and would have visited more if we had a more reasonable means of getting there. Car hire currently is the way to go I think the hotel should make more of the amazing Greek culture. They should consider more Greek food, and highlight more Greek culture especially evening entertainment. When I visit another country I want to learn more about it. I don't want a bland international experience so please Mr Giannis showcase your lovely country proudly. I am sure most of your guests would love it. Finally, although the hotel is beautiful and the staff are lovely I wouldn't return. The kids spoiled our experience really and the entitled parents did nothing to consider the feelings of fellow guests who also deserve a nice holiday. It's a shame really as I think it would actually work better as an adults only especially as there is only one pool. Shout out to Aliki, Valentina, Giannis and the beach bar team. Wonderful people.
