My wife and I traveled here for a surf trip. This place is close to the beach, clean rooms, good food, and a very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 11 days. Very nice vibe here. I got a lot of good surf. We also did one day snorkel excursion. Excellent experience. Really good healthy reefs. We can’t wait to spend more time here

We are so grateful to have found Ekas Surf Resort. This was our second unforgettable trip here in 2 years. Both times the staff were amazing and the food is great! I highly recommend Ekas surf resort to anyone who wants a good vibe and fun waves. Thanks for having us and I can’t wait to be back!

I stayed at ekas surf resortand did the surf camp with Ewan and Ameil. I learnt and understand now so much more about surfing technique. Ewan has a way of explaining. The accomodation was above expectations,. very comfortable, very clean, the beds (mattresses) providing a good nites sleep. The meals were healthy and very tasty. And above all, the crew of staff were just great 🤎 and to top it off with Melisa and Dave who made sure that it was a fantastic experience. Ohhh!!!! And the waves were really good as well Thanks guys 🏄♀️🌊🏄♀️ 😘

Just back from a surf camp holiday with the lovely people at Ekas Surf Camp and it was hands down one of the best places I've been to. The food is fresh and healthy, the rooms are clean and comfy, surf's amazing for all levels, and I got heaps of very useful feedback to improve my surfing. Above all, the owners Melissa and Dave made us feel so welcome and were always up for a chat, some local knowledge and surf tips for the day. I've returned home smiling and can't wait to get back there! Until next time 😀

We had the best time at Ekas resort. We stayed for 14 nights in the room with a balcony. The room was comfortable, lovely bathroom and we loved having our own balcony to watch the sunset and all the happenings with the village below. It’s a little more noisy early morning but that did not bother us. All the staff at Ekas were exceptional, they took care of everything and made us feel so welcome. The pool is lovely and we spent plenty of time chilling and reading. The food at the restaurant was great, we tried pretty much everything on the menu. The complementary breakfast was delicious. We surfed most days and it’s an easy walk to the beach, the free boat ride to insides was super easy and the staff always checked if we wanted to go out, boat runs 6am-6pm. The captains of the boat were very organised and friendly, helping us out with when was best to surf etc. We did the snorkel tour organised by the resort and it was awesome, so many fish and the coral was spectacular. Ekas village is small and friendly. It was nice being in such a small village, very relaxing and we loved the chilled atmosphere. Thanks for having us!

Had a great trip to Ekas surf camp. The surf guides were great helping us to get to know the local surf conditions. Really special beaches in walking distance. The accommodation was good with a great restaurant and nice to sit around the pool. We’d love to come back sometime!

Having previously stayed in a surf resort on Java, we were looking for a setup that delivered the same holiday: relaxed, hospitality-focused operators who know what matters to a family who want to surf every day. Ekas Surf Resort exactly fit the bill. The rooms were clean and spacious. The dining area was open all the hours you needed it. The surfboat is at the ready to take you to the two nearest breaks throughout the day. And it was easy to organise scooters, snorkelling (and no doubt other activities). Surfboards and kiteboarding equipment are available onsite, or can be easily organised. The surf break setup at Ekas is perfect for families (and other people) who want to meet the surfing abilities of everyone in a group. A perfect little beginner wave. An intermediate wave to step up to. And a more advanced wave for experienced surfers. The best part about Ekas Surf Resort for us was the people; both the people running the resort (Mel is the best), but also - and equally importantly - the likeminded people attracted to staying there. Laid back, surf-focused, up for adventure AND chilling out....Ekas Surf Resort makes it all easy. We will be back.

The camp only takes 4 people maximum each week so you're sure to have a very personalised surf stay and improve a lot. The theory classes are very helpful and the spot is still less crowded than in Kuta (Lombok). At first, I thought that it was very expensive but after I've tried another surf camp, I think it's worth every cent.
