Arnaboldi Palace - Circolo

What a wonderful hotel, a humble entrance and lift hides a grand hotel. There was so many things that impressed us during our one night stay at this hotel. From the stunning collection of Antiques, the high ceilings, the terraces, the bedrooms. However what really makes this hotel stand out is the outstanding level of service from Paulo. Due to the hospitalisation of one of my friends we did not arrive until the late hours, however at his own lack of sleep and expense he waited up to greet us with a smile and assisted us with our bags. At breakfast despite his lack of sleep we were then greeted with a smile. He is the perfect host and gentlemen spending time with his guests and treating them like family and not as just another customer. I have a love for history and he took the time to answer my many questions and nothing was too much trouble from assisting us with the ztl to resolving an issue, all was dealt with above and beyond. We visited many hotels during this summer break, however this kind and humble man stood out by far for providing the very best of service. A rare gem who places his customers at the heart of the business and wants you to be happy. This really is a gorgeous hotel.and breakfast is plentiful and tasty. We will definately return and stay longer next time. If you want to stay at beautiful hotel with a perfect host then this is the place.

We had booked the La Stanza Del Cardinale, Pavia and upon arrival to this wonderful university city we went to check in and were greeted by one of the Owners (I think, Paolo). Our plan was to leave our cases in the lobby as we had booked a room on the 4th floor with no lift (gotta get rid of that husband of mine!). While waiting to check in I was browsing through a brochure on the desk and Paolo asked me if I would like to stay in that place. Photos of a beautiful, building, magnificent rooms. Of course we said yes and he explained that the Arnaboldi Palace was also their hotel and was just around the corner. Of course more expensive. So we agreed and he walked us round to his most beautiful building, Our suite was amazing, just incredible. As well as garaging our car for us Paolo booked us a local Osteria which was delicious. All in all a great time in Pavia at Arnaboldi Palace.

Wat een pareltje is dit zeg. Echt een mega gave ervaring! Wat een super mooi gebouw uit 18.. was een soort gentleman’s club gebouwd door een rijke koning. verstopt maar unieke ervaring. Leuke oude stad met ook een sjiek restaurant om de hoek.
