Ecko Kasang Regency Hill Resort

The resort is a true from the moment we arrived we were greated with a exceptional service and genuine warmth. The rooms are spacious decorated and the amenties are top notch.The pool area is a paradise, and the dining experies was exquisite with delicious food and attentive staff. I have visited more then 5 times in last 2 years and cant wait to return this slice of paradise !higly recommeded.

Amazing view from balcony, swimming pool and playing area for the children is also very maintained, friendly staff 's behaviour and fooding of the resort is also very good.

Having looked at many properties for our 2-night stay in Lansdowne, after a lot of back and forth, we decided to book Kasang Regency primarily due to its location (5 kms before Lansdowne) and activities available at the property. Below, I delve into details of our stay. Location: One of the biggest issues at hill stations is traffic and parking. In order to avoid the same, we wanted something which was before Lansdowne actually began. Kasang met this need beautifully as it is a decent 20 minutes to Lansdowne, and has ample parking space. Road to Lansdowne is well built so if you are looking to commute multiple times in a day, you wont face issues timing and road wise. However, our visit was off-season so the time could change by a bit in peak tourist season. Rooms: The property offers deluxe, super-deluxe, and Glamps (2) for booking. We opted for the super-deluxe rooms as they provided a big space, balcony, and a good price - Rs 3750 / night (with breakfast) Positives as mentioned above are space and the price. Have rarely come across a room as big for the price in the mountains of Himachal and Uttarakhand. Room has a kettle, tea and coffee mixes, a closet, ample storage drawers, night lamps, air conditioning (note - deluxe rooms have no air conditioning), balcony with chairs and a table, television, and all other basic amenities you can think of. Room has a decent sized attached bathroom with a shower area. Basic amenities present like handsoap, face moisturizer, shampoo, and a dental kit. Something in the room which leaves a lot to be desired is hygiene. Bedsheet had stains, and so did the bedspread. Something basic which every traveler wants is a clean room, and I think Kasang needs to work on this in order to make the room experience flawless. Dining (Restaurant and In-room dining): First, lets dig into the restaurant. Having driven from Delhi for 7 hrs, we dropped our bags in the rooms and headed straight to the restaurant to grab lunch. Honestly, the restaurant has a sad vibe. Inadequate lighting, improper ventilation, and not very motivated waiters are waiting for you. These factors overpower the great Himalayan views from the restaurant to make your experience a not so memorable one. Ordered a variety of main course dishes for lunch - dal tadka, mix veg, egg curry. Everything tasted good with the right amount of salt and spices. They did not have tandoori roti at that point, therefore we ordered tawa roti with our food. Since breakfast was included in our room rate, we were back in the restaurant the next morning at 8:30am. Spread was decent but taste for all the food was below average. Options for breakfast included tandoori aloo parantha, poha, bread pakora, and other regular items like tea, coffee, bread, curd, etc. Apart from dining in the restaurant, we also ordered a ton of food in the rooms (no options for delivery or eating out once at the property). Dishes ordered were corn chaat, masala peanuts, dal makhani, chilli pot

Beautiful property at a serene place. Away from hustle and bustle. Best part is you get a beautiful valley view from each room’s balcony. Staff is cooperative and humble. Food is also good. Mr Gaurav the owner is a humble and supportive person. Me and my family especially my 4 year son enjoyed a lot

Conveniently Placed Location wise with Spacious parking at ground level! Beautiful views of the valley with fog coming to your Balcony to greet you in the morning 😊! A clean and hygienic Swimming pool is a highlight of this property boasting wonderful views of the nature..! Food quality in dinner and Lunch was good and the taste was amazing ..! Breakfast needs a little improvement in terms of food choices and variety! The Beautiful Glamping Stayon the pool side is a cherry on the cake! Overall a great Place for a short 3days vacation with Owners of the Property welcoming you with a smile and warmth! Will soon visit again😊!
