San Antonio Summer House

The location is very good but we were very disappointed in our room. We were in Room 2 and our booking said garden view which was not the case. It was a side street view and the entrance overlooked a small courtyard garden . We queried the garden view booked and was told by reception no rooms had a garden view ? Room 2 was very noisy in the morning as next to the kitchen area. Plus people going up and down the stairs in the evening. One of the bedside tables was missing at it was used to stand the fridge on, so not happy with that. We stayed 3 nights and was expensive compared to other accommodation we'd stayed at in Parikia & Naxos. There was only 6 pool chairs and 3 umbrellas which was not enough for the number of room. Breakfast was good. Overall not what we expected from photos and our booking.

The reception and staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They were so knowledgeable of the area, the busses, and sights to see. The hotel is located very close to the bus stop which is easy to get to other locations from. Also the hotel is only a 10-15 min walk from the black sand beach- which is beautiful (and quiet in the mornings!) The only complaint we had was from about 10:30-1am at night there was a lot of noise coming from the hotel either above or outside- it sounded like they were still setting up rooms or building something in the middle of the night. Also the showers are extremely small! If you are tall, be prepared to crouch or sit completely on the floor. Other than that we had a great stay, and the receptions staff and breakfast were lovely!

We had a room overlooking the pool and it had a sea view Good points Clean room with balcony which had a pull out clothes aired. Towels changed daily Good breakfast with tables inside and outside Very close to beaches, restaurants and bus stop The one negative point is the shower room. Although it was clean it does need updating This hotel is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it is on a steep hill.There are a number of steps in the hotel

This hotel has lots of good points It is very close to the beach, restaurants and bus stop Our room overlooked the pool and had a sea view. It was clean and towels were changed daily. It had a small balcony with pull out clothes dryer Breakfast was good The one negative was the bathroom . Although clean it did need a new shower and general updating Probably not suitable for people with mobility difficulties due to steps and it’s position on a steep hill

Made very welcome by excellent host . Friendly helpful knowledgeable . Excellent breakfast . Excellent location. Our room had great views ... cleaned daily . Would recommend. Constant warm / hot water

We booked this for our stay in Piso Livadi, first time there. Previous locations on Naxos, paros and Santorini were great, but this place is awful. The rooms are very small with a bed that might as well not be there, to say it was uncomfortable wouldn't adequately describe it. Bathroom, very poor, dripping taps and a shower that didnt have a wall mounting. Like something from 50 years ago. Look elsewhere for your accommodation in this lovely village. As far as their website photos, this ace has been photographed to make it look good, take from me it's all window dressing. This is essentially hostel accommodation, not a hotel

We booked in feb 2021 having viewed the enticing pictures on *******. On arrival we found they were far removed from reality. On arrival we were sat down for 15 minutes whilst the manager explained the Covid rules. This included the fact that our breakfasts would be brought to our room because of Covid. We were then shown to our room. This was like going back 40 years to the 1st time we went to Greece. To say it was basic was an understatement. Curtains barely hanging on rails, broken wardrobe doors, a tiny bathroom with a huge hole in the ceiling revealing the sky outside. There was an overriding smell of damp, or dirty mop bucket water, it was that bad. We explained that this was not as it said on the website and the manager apologised and urged us to take the room anyway. We refused and asked for another only to be shown another room that had not been used for a week but also had not been cleaned in that time, with unmade beds from the previous occupants and a terrible smell coming from the bathroom, despite the fact that the windows were open wide , it was very off putting. We declined and asked for our money back. The manager then added that the cleaners had not been working and that most of the rooms are not ready, but if we waited for them to return at 10pm the room would be cleaned. We declined and we’re shown a 3rd room adjacent to the pool. Which is when we discovered that the sea ‘views’ pictures from the pool are obscured by 30ft buildings immediately adjacent to it. To get to the pool you have to walk out of the hotel and along the street. The sun beds are old and manky, and there was only 4 of them. The room we were then shown was equally as squalid and again we declined the offer and asked for a refund. The manager said he would ask his boss and rang him while we deliberated in what to do. On deciding to leave we where told we could not have a refund (£175) and we’re so disgusted with the whole experience that we decided to pick up our bags and leave. There was no offer of alternative accommodation so we used the hotel WiFi to book another hotel in nearby Naoussa, a much bigger, better resort. The next day the manager emailed us to say we could have had a stay at their sister hotel, Mr & Mrs White, near Naoussa, with the same deposit. But it was too late by then. All in all a sour experience and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel one bit, steer clear.

Very covid aware. Manager couldn’t have been more helpful.Excellent location. Nice sized room but unfortunately could have done with being updated, especially the bathroom. However we very much enjoyed our visit.
