Khangkhu Resort

We stayed here during our last night in Bhutan after hiking Tiger Nest Monastery. Pros: beautiful view of Paro valley. Friendly staff. Spacious room. Cons: many stairs to climb to reach our room. Definitely not recommended for seniors. Also the rooms were far away from the main reception and restaurant. Food was bland and subpar.

The hotel sits outside Paro with a view of the city and airport. there are less than 10-15 flights a day, so soundwise it is ok. Rooms are adequate, but the water coming out of the faucet is deep rust colour. not to be recommended for anything really. food in he restaurant was bland and very few dishes were available. esp for vegetarians, there are no options. many loud dogs at night outside, when we complained we were moved, which did work.

Our motorcycle tour group came here for two nights. Location is a few kilometres out of town, but with a great elevated view of the airport. Facilities and food were very good. WiFi here is a bit different - the code that they give you is the Voucher Code for intranet login (ignore username and password fields), and you need a separate code for each device. There was no automatic cleaning of room (new towels etc) after our first night.

The place has very good views of the Paro Dzong, Watch tower museum and the Paro Airport. The Dzong and the watch tower is lit up during the evening and into the night, and the sight is must see from this hotel. It also has great mountain views, and almost all the rooms have good sitting areas outside of the rooms for enjoying these views. The accommodation and the facilities are spread out, and it is definitely a big plus for those people who like personal space. The restaurant itself was very accommodative and they made us a curated meals most for most of our stay. The chef seems to be prepare good food for dinner. The breakfast was a little off color due to very limited options, it could also be a problem on our side as we had no clear menu to chose from, may be they would have accommodated if we had made special requests. Their website says their spa is under renovation, however spa was functional. A special shootout to the therapist at the spa, this was one of the best massages I have had in quite a while. The washrooms are quite large, and have a heater in them. It was really helpful as the place got cold during nights and mornings. There is no operate shower area, but it has a bath tub. The washroom looked and was very basic, but functional. Pros The views are very good from the rooms and also the dining place. The food was decent, and staff are very accommodative. The rooms are large and has good amenities. Cons. Too many steps everywhere. If there are people who have trouble climbing stairs or inclined surfaces, they should avoid the place, or at least request for a room closer to the restaurant. The staff were very helpful, but in the present times it looked unhygienic as couple of people in the restaurant were constantly coughing, and did not even wear masks. At times like this, where travelers are a little paranoid about germs, it can help if the management makes people working with guests, especially in dining areas to mandatorily wear masks. it is little far from the town center, and it is not easy to find rides to the town center. Distance wise it is just about 3.5 km from the town center, however it is not easy to travel around on your own.

Very beautiful hotel located on hilltop my 2 night staying was very nice, best room with view of Paro Jong and Paro town. Dinner is ok , group of waitress come to get dinner order who don't seem to well trained. Bar is locked and had to wait for keys open Room Hitler is not warm and no call is attended late night. Problem with internet but Mr jevan solved issue :thank you for everything Very helpful for hot stone bath booking🙏 Overall I love my stay in khnagkhu Resort

Отель имеет несколько корпусов, каждый номер имеет довольно просторный балкон, где можно смело отдохнуть на кресле. Сами номера просторные, с очень большой ванной комнатой, душ правда встроенный. В номере все необходимое имеется, от ванных принадлежностей, тапочек, до чая и кофе. В главном корпусе отеля размещен ресторан для постояльцев отеля, там же есть и стенд с сувенирной продукцией. Завтраки и ужины - это шведский стол, был сильно удивлен, когда на ужин была предложена рыба, хороший кусок, вкусной рыбы, так же это единственный отель из 4-х на нашем маршруте по Бутану 🇧🇹, где на десерт предлагалось свежее вкуснющее и сочное манго 🥭.
