Palazzo Gozzi Bed & Beauty

Lots of good taste and professionalism, combined with attention to detail and presented and maintained with great care and warmth, greeted me in this very small, a bit unusual, but recently renovated and remodeled boutique hotel. Bravo Paolo and Roberto and all the best for the future!

This place was absolutely lovely! Beautiful rooms, five star service. We really enjoyed our stay, would go again & highly recommend! ♥️ They did not Steve breakfast but we got A vouchure to a Café nearby that was also very nice. Even a haircut was included! And one more appraise for the staff, especially the head of the hotel. Thank you for a lovely and memorable stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay when exploring Parma, and a short train ride (30 minutes) to Modena. About a 10-15 minute walk to the city center and about a 20-25 minute walk to the train station. Our stay came with a haircut, which I desperately needed and was a nice way to start my vacation. The hosts were very nice and were always available if needed. Paolo says his English is not very good, but it was terrific! They provided vouchers to local patisseries for breakfast, which we were not expecting since it is a "bed & beauty" not a "bed & breakfast" so this was a pleasant surprise. (Don't pass on the fresh squeezed orange juice at the patisseries!) Every evening when we came back, there were 2 new bottles of water and juice in our room. Definitely check out Matis cafe, right down the main street on the right. We had lunch here the day we arrived and it was wonderful! We also ended our nights there at the bar on the way home. Great atmosphere, food and drinks, and the owner was great! Highly recommend Palazzo Gozzi if you are visiting Parma!

A great place to base yourself when you are exploring Parma. The hosts are charming, the rooms are extremely beautiful and comfortable and the special touches - a complimentary hairdo and the daily aperitifs - are a winning combination. This is a short walk from the old part of the town with the restaurants and cafes and the train station. For breakfast they have agreements with local pasticcerias which makes a perfect start to the day. Definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic hosts. There’s a handful of places that have made me feel at home as this one. And when I think, I think it tops all of them. It’s always about the people and their passion for doing what they do. They are so welcoming you wish you spent more time there. The place is beautifully renovated and very clean. They although we were stuck in traffic and arrived beyond their check in hours they were so kind to check us in late and make it look as if it was no issue at all. There’s usually several free parking spots on the opposite side of the roundabout next to the city park. If you feel like it you should check out the hair salon they run at the ground floor. Will certainly come back when in the area.

Absolutely superb stay! We found the B and B easily, leaving the car at the Kennedy Parking a 4 minute walk away. Reception is in the hairdressers below the rooms. We were warmly greeted and offered drinks and a free hair wash and dry which I gladly took up. What a treat and well done too. Most welcome after a long drive. We were shown to our gorgeous room on the first floor. As well as being beautifully decorated and having a huge en-suite, a high end coffee machine with coffee pods and tea/tissanes plus bottled water were included. The shower gel was lovely and very refreshing too. Every detail has been carefully considered. Around 6pm a tray with fizz and bottled water in ice with peanuts was placed outside our room. In the morning a lovely continental breakfast was also brought to our room. Normally this is taken at a local cafe but this was closed for an annual holiday. We have never experienced such caring and friendly proprietors, such attention to every possible need and a genuine desire for guests to relax and enjoy themselves. Many thanks to Roberto and Paulo. We would have loved to have stayed longer. It is a pleasant 10 minute walk to Parma centro or as pointed out to us with a map we were given, a lovely 20 minute walk through a local park. We even received little drawstring backpacks for shoes or small items. This is exceptional value. Well done to the owners and very many thanks for a memorable stay.

They say they wanted their guests to feel at home and that's how it feels. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom. All decorated with good taste and bed is very comfy. A/C is efficient which helped with the heat wave outside. Located close to the park and a short walk from town. If coming with a car, parking in the street is easy.

The best location in Parma!!! Unique B&B of 5 very nicely decorated and equipped bedrooms and bathrooms. Very nice Aveda products at disposal and many nice attentions from the owners. One of the warmest welcome ever received and paying attention to all our needs during the stay without being invasive at all... great couple! Thank you for this wonderful stay, will come back!

We loved this place. We weren’t exactly sure when we pulled in the parking lot and went into the Gozzi Beauty Salon, but our minds were put at ease upon meeting the owner and his partner. They offered to show us the rooms and we were able to select the one we liked most. It has no lift but we only had to go up 2 flights and Paolo carried our bags. As we had dinner reservations in the historic center, we were given a map and took the 10-15 minute walk through the park to the Piazza del Duomo. Roberto the owner tried to get us a dinner reservation at the finest restaurant in Parma, but was unable, so obtained one at a great little Osteria just a short distance from the hotel, which turned out to be wonderful. What we didn’t know when we made the reservation was that each guest receives a free shampoo and cut in the beauty salon right next door. My wife loved it as she was treated like a queen. Although they do not have a dining area in the hotel, they give you a voucher where you can get the typical Italian breakfast of a coffee and cornetto, which was fine. The Wifi worked great and there was free parking in their lot. The other very fine perk provided by Paolo and Roberto was the aperitivo each evening of a nice little bottle of Prosecco. What we questioned at our arrival turned out to be a diamond in the rough. We loved our little hotel ( with a lovely room) and we loved Paolo and Roberto and their amazing hospitality. We’d love to stay there again.
