I booked the hotel as It was nearby to the train station Tugu, I did not know that the hotel just opened the day I checked in on October 23rd. So I was wondering why all the 5 stars reviews were given in advance. The lobby looks good and check in was good. All the employees were kind, friendly and polite. I got room on 1st floor , My room has a city view so I could not open the curtain if the lights are on. The room I was staying in was a standard room, there was a water cooker and a water jar ( you need to take water from dispenser next to the lift ) the AC was not on yet , so it was very hot when I entered the room. everything looked clean except for the mirrors, which were a bit dirty. The room is not soundproof, because I could hear a child crying from nextdoor and I could hear some noise from the hall. The bathroom is spacious and nicely arranged (but it seems unhandy as there is no place where you could hang your towels after they were used and there were no places to plug in your hairdryer) There was some problems with the hot water. I contacted the hotel and someone came twice to fix it but in the end there still was no hot water, lukewarm water was running for minute and then there was cold water again. The internet connection was sometimes unstable.

Superb location, only 2 minutes from Malioboro middle section, so easy to reach the Tugu train station & the Titik Nol center city of Yogyakarta. Good breakfast. Front desk only one when I came, so the check-in process was a little bit slow, waiting until 2.10 pm for the room to get ready.

The place is nice. I book with trip.com for 2 nights because of the high rating. The staff is friendly and accommodating so easy to request things such as ironing stuff. Location to malioboro street also just 5 minutes away, so easy to take a walk and spend your money to the variety of stores@toko there. Checkin process was smooth and convenient. The toilet also got pipe for easy washing after use off the loo. Unfortunately the room that i book is small and hardly a space to move freely. I’m on vacation and buy quite a lot of souvenirs, so it’s hard to do the packing conveniently. Booking the room without a window, actually means no view although there is a widow , but it doesn’t bother that much. So if you just wanna chill and explore malioboro area, this place will be “the place”. The photo i share is not related to the room because forgot to snap picture. “Too busy arranging my staff” i guessed 😆. Most of the picture was during breakfast time. Lots of variety and i enjoy it.

Tempat nya sangat baik dengan Harga yg bersaing, lokasi juga sangat dekat dengan Malioboro dan pusat kota juga Stasiun Tugu,ditambah Kolam renang yg menjadi nilai plus..menginap ber-4 dengan istri dan 2 anak tidak dikenakan Charge lagi..next jika ada rejeki mampir lagi ke Gloria Amanda Hotel...

The hotel's service and location were good, but there's room for improvement in the details. The bedsheets, pillowcases, and towels in the room felt old and worn, which detracted from the overall comfort of the stay. For the price, I expected higher-quality linens. However, the breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The selection was varied, the ingredients were fresh, and the food tasted great. It was definitely the highlight of the stay. Overall, if the hotel were to upgrade its room amenities, it would offer much better value for the price.
