Our stay at the Floral Hotel in Wuyuan was lovely and unforgettable . The family that owns and manages the homestay is extremely kind and attentive. As Europeans, we were very disoriented and had lots of requests and doubts. Lily, the daughter of the family, who speaks English, helped us in any possible way and never made us feel as if we were being difficult. Her mother cooks meals with ingredients straight out of her garden and with locally farmed meat. Thanks to her, we tasted the delicious wuyuan cuisine, with homemade recipes that are far from the stereotypical dishes we eat in Europe. I can’t stress enough how beautiful the Homestay is. It is located in a small village which might not be a ticketed scenic area, but it’s extremely charming and authentic. You wake up and walk by the river where women are washing clothes by hand in the water. The village feels frozen in time. The house was built by the family’s grandfather, and is the most exquisite building we have seen throughout our trip in China. Beautifully preserved, and every corner is decorated with taste and attentiveness, even the lighting in the room is carefully curated. We stayed in December, and if you are travelling in winter we recommend the smaller room upstairs. It gets much warmer than the bigger room on the ground floor. The room is a real gem, the bed is very comfortable and the small windows overlook the characteristic roofs of the village. We will always cherish our time spent here, and we will recommend the Homestay to all our friends who will visit China, I’d say it is worth coming to Wuyuan just to stay here.

Chúng tôi đã ăn sáng và ăn trưa do cô nấu rất ngon và đó là một trong những món ăn ngon nhất mà chúng tôi từng ăn ở Trung Quốc cho đến nay! Căn phòng rất nghệ thuật, thoải mái với khăn trải giường và khăn tắm đẹp, nhiệt độ và áp suất nước tốt, và bạn có thể thấy rằng có rất nhiều sự chú ý đến từng chi tiết. Chúng tôi đã gặp sự cố với tài xế taxi của mình vì không thể nhận được khoản thanh toán của chúng tôi do hạn chế của thẻ quốc tế và người phụ nữ đó rất tử tế khi giúp chúng tôi mà không yêu cầu bất cứ điều gì đáp lại, chúng tôi sẽ không bao giờ quên. Cô ấy cũng nói được một chút tiếng Anh, điều này rất hữu ích!! Chúng tôi hy vọng sẽ quay lại và ở lại lâu hơn. 💗🙏

The hotel staff were sweet and helpful. They offered a tea service for guests, which was such a lovely touch. The hotel owner used to run a tea factory before opening the hotel, so the tea they serve is their own in-house production. When they served it, it wasn’t just a cup of tea handed to us, but they led us to the seating area, sat down, and prepared the tea right there for us. We could slowly sip and savor it until the flavor faded. If you come here, you can enjoy it as soon as you arrive or later (we arrived in the afternoon but saved it for the next morning). Another thing that really impressed me was the room, which was much nicer than I expected from the pictures. I was traveling with older family member, and they absolutely loved the room. It felt spacious and cozy thanks to its design and layout. At first, I thought we might have been upgraded, but it didn’t seem so—this was the original room I had booked. The hotel grounds are also quite spacious. Some of the buildings are designed with traditional Chinese architecture, and there’s a garden on a hillside at the back that took us around 30 minutes to walk through. As for the breakfast, it was decent—plenty of food, though the variety was fairly standard. Still, I’ve got to say this again—the tea served at the hotel was great. They even gave us a box of tea leaves when we checked out! If you’re coming from the train station, it’s easy to reach the hotel by bus. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and routes 2, 3, and 520 pass by. However, buses stop running fairly early, with the last ones around 5–6 PM. Conveniently, the bus stop has a QR code you can scan to track the buses in real time.

Môi trường: Môi trường rất tốt, sảnh sáng sủa, rộng rãi, phong cảnh ngoài cửa sổ rất tốt. Gió chiều còn thoang thoảng mùi hoa quế ngọt ngào. Tiện nghi: Có quầy trà ở sảnh, nơi bạn có thể tự pha trà, các tiện nghi như TV, điều hòa trong phòng còn rất mới. Vệ sinh: Bàn, TV, bàn đầu giường đều sạch sẽ, không có dấu vết bụi bặm, trong phòng không có mùi lạ. Dịch vụ: Dịch vụ lễ tân rất nhiệt tình và hữu ích trong việc chỉ đường đến các khu phố ăn vặt và công viên xung quanh. Giải đáp mọi thắc mắc của bạn! Nhìn chung, đó là một kỳ nghỉ thú vị. Tôi muốn đưa ra một gợi ý nhỏ. Một chiếc bàn cà phê nhỏ sẽ hoàn hảo hơn trong phòng.

Gần đây tôi đã ở tại Huan Xiu Homestay và có một trải nghiệm tuyệt vời. Khung cảnh thanh bình của nhà trọ và sự pha trộn giữa phong cách trang trí truyền thống và hiện đại tạo nên một nơi nghỉ ngơi yên bình. Phòng của tôi sạch sẽ, được trang trí đẹp mắt và rất thoải mái. Các tiện nghi rất tuyệt vời, mang đến cả sự thư giãn và trải nghiệm văn hóa. Đội ngũ nhân viên thân thiện và chu đáo, cung cấp lòng hiếu khách tuyệt vời và những mẹo hữu ích của người dân địa phương. Trải nghiệm bữa sáng thật tuyệt vời, với các món ăn Trung Hoa ngon và chính thống. Nhìn chung, tôi đã có một kỳ nghỉ tuyệt vời tại Huan Xiu Inn và tôi thực sự muốn giới thiệu nơi này.

We came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages. We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too! Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms. It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained. I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me! The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain. This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.
