Sterling Athirappilly

Excellent!! The one word you can feel about this property. The location is the best part, with two window room, one side I see the Athirapally waterfall and other window i see the river. The hygiene and cleanliness taken care the best. The amenities being at this remote location is the best possible. I just had Indian food, so the food quality is one of the best i can think about. I called for services multiple times, and they helped me with all i needed immediately every time. Even in between the Jungle i felt secure as it is surrounded by barbed electric wire ***** with security personals there 24/7. One thing I missed about the reception girl not knowing hindi, and often she was busy on her mobile, may be handelling other client, but she was alone there so i had no option other then to wait till she is finished. One more suggestion, You should also have your parking area barbed with wire as my driver had to sleep in his vehicle at night and he was very much scared and afraid being there at night.

Gorgeous hotel, way nicer than the pictures on here. Our room had the best view I've ever had from a hotel. It was also huge with a vast bed. The restaurant was nice but not a highlight. The walk to the waterfall is a bit longer than 10 minutes but there are views ***** the way.

My journey through Kerala began at Sterling Athirappilly, and what an incredible start it was! From the stunning views to the exceptional hospitality and delicious food, everything was perfect. Dinuj, who hosted us, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience. His food recommendations, both in Athirappilly and beyond, were absolutely fantastic—definitely ask him for suggestions! We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite, perhaps due to the off-season, and I had the privilege of falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the waterfall and river flowing just outside our window. Waking up to the most beautiful sunrise was the cherry on top! The cleanliness and hygiene throughout the property were impeccable. I can’t wait to return to this gem in the heart of God's Own Country.

We paid for a premium waterfall view indulge suite, rooms were neat and location is nice however we had issues with following: 1) Hand shower wasnt working properly 2) Jacoozi was spraying water all over the place and not working properly 3) No waterfall view and we were told they didnt release water ; Reception staff was courteous but unable to resolve issues. to their credit they offered free dinner as a compensation and was told the issues would be fixed immediately but until we checked out issues were not fixed. Overall a disappointing experience

We recently stayed at Sterling Athirappilly for two days in November 2024, and it was a wonderful experience! Location The location is fantastic—just a 5-minute walk to Athirappilly Falls. Plus, you can even see the waterfall from the terrace, which is a unique and beautiful sight. Amenities The infinity pool is a highlight, offering mesmerizing views. Relaxing by the pool while soaking in the scenery was truly refreshing. The outdoor breakfast area by the river was the cherry on top—a perfect way to start the day. Food The food was delicious! Each meal added to the overall experience and was just as memorable as the views. Overall Sterling Athirappilly is the ideal combo of great location, stunning views, and delicious food. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Athirappilly Falls in comfort!

Our stay at this hotel had a rough start. On our first day, my son, who has a severe nut allergy, had an allergic reaction after eating a dish that unknowingly contained peanut powder in the seasoning even though we informed the Kitchen of the allergy. Thankfully, it wasn’t severe, and we had medication on hand. The food overall was disappointing— the Indian dishes lacked flavor and spice, while the Italian food tasted nothing like Italian cuisine and was oddly spicy. This was frustrating, as we had higher expectations for the food. However, after the allergy incident, the staff really stepped up. Nirmal, the manager, was incredible. He immediately offered to take us to the hospital in his personal vehicle and checked on us constantly to make sure my son was okay. He went out of his way to ensure the rest of our stay was pleasant, even coordinating excursions for us. Alan from the dining staff was extremely attentive, making sure all the food was safe for my son and greeting us warmly every time we dined. Ranjith, the security guard, was welcoming every day and even brought out bows and arrows so the kids could practice their target shooting, which they loved. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and we had a very traditional and warm welcome upon arrival. While the food was a disappointment, the attentiveness and kindness of the staff, especially Nirmal, Alan, and Ranjith, made our stay memorable. My only suggestion for improvement would be in the quality and authenticity of the food.
