Hotel des Pyrénées

Spent two nights at Hotel Des Pyrénées when visiting Paris for the Paralympic Games. Paid £140 for 2 nights, which I felt was very reasonable given the location, time of year, and that there was a global sporting event on. My room was basic - bed, desk, TV, fridge, mirror, bathroom but very comfortable, clean and tidy. The breakfast is a lovely touch - as mentioned in other reviews, it gets delivered on a tray to your room at a time of your choosing, and consists of a croissant, bread, butter and jam, orange juice and a hot drink of your choice (I went for coffee with milk - other options are black coffee, tea, hot chocolate). Location-wise, it’s just over the road from the Pyrénées Metro Station, and takes around 20-30 mins on there to get to most sightseeing destinations, i.e. Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysees, Louvre (plus you can also see the Tower in the distance from the crossroads nearby which was a nice surprise). Importantly, it also feels like a friendly area - there’s a few Bistros, cafes and takeaways in and around, and when arriving back often fairly late at night, I always felt safe making the short walk back from the Metro. The perfect place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere to base yourself during a city break.

I appreciated the location. It's conveniently situated in the heart of Belleville Village, which boasts a diverse array of restaurants, bars, and cafes. Sara was my host, and she was extremely helpful, providing me with tips for navigating the city and dining suggestions. The shower was warm, offering a comforting end to a long day of exploration, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong.

Clean hotel in the old part of Paris, across the road from the Pyrenees metro station. Nice breakfast for 6 Euros extra consisting of 1 croissant, 2 pieces of bread, Jam, butter, Orange Juice and Hot Chocolate or Coffee. Delivered to your room as there are no dining facilities. Air con was great and you pick up the remote from reception. Check out at 12 meant we could take it easy on the morning we left. We paid £140 a night for a triple room. Not the cheapest but probably good for Paris. This is a very quiet hotel and we were not disturbed at all, though our room didn't face the street. No extra taxes were required on arrival (unlike Rome!). The location is more old style Paris I would say but there were plenty of shops and restaurants around....head south and you can see the Eiffel tower in the distance. There is a great fruit shop across the road.

Although it is a very simple hotel, the attention, accommodations and most of all, the location were perfect. The metro stop is right across the street, and there is a small supermarket and a few restaurants just a few feet from the hotel. Breakfast was simple, and served in your room which is a nice touch, but it consists of a croissant, jam, butter, orange juice and coffee or chocolate. I just had it once and preferred to buy breakfast elsewhere the other days. The room and bed were comfortable and the refurbished bathrooms were a plus! On the downside, as in many other older hotels in Paris, there is no elevator (lift) and my room was on the third floor, which meant I had to carry my heavy luggage all the way up.

L'hotel é buono, le stanze sono dignitose, la metro davanti é comodissima, il quartiere é pieno di ristoranti carini multietnici a buon prezzo ( vi consiglio di provare l'artisan libanais) . Lilluminazione notturna dell'hotel é inesistente (consiglio di mettere una luce), le stanze vengono pulite ogni giorno, l'unico problema é che utilizzano molto detersivo e il pavimento risulta appiccicoso, le docce sono separate dal bagno con una tenda quindi quando si fa la doccia l'acqua va ovunque (consigliate ciabatte) , il phon se avete i capelli lunghi è meglio portarselo, il personale è molto gentile e educato, soprattutto la ragazza giovane e il signore che porta le colazioni tutte leattine ( molto buona e abbondante, consigliata). Invece ho parlato due volte sia per telefono che per voce con un' altra signora che mi ha molto innervosita, è poco accogliente e distaccata, sia nei modi che nelle frasi, non fa un sorriso, sembra che ti fa un favore sia a salutarti che a risponderti, ha avuto un atteggiamento che non mi é proprio piaciuto. Tralasciando questo dettaglio vi consiglio questo hotel.

Ho passato 3 giorni a Parigi. L'hotel si trova proprio sulla fermata metro Pyrenees che vi porterà ovunque vogliate (peccato fosse fuori uso , ma con tram o 5 minuti a piedi ho trovato altre fermate). Stanza pulita riordinata giornalmente, con frigo. staff gentile e reception aperta 24 h. Presente anche tv. Bagno tutto ok ( senza bidet Ma credo sia così ovunque) ho fatto check-in anche prima dell’orario e mi hanno tenuto i bagagli dopo. Veramente soddisfatta tornerò sicuramente anche perché Parigi è MAGICA ❤️

Hotel idéalement placé dans le quartier de Belleville, proche des buttes de chaumont. Quartier vivant et proche de république à pied. Un bon point de départ pour visiter ce coin de Paris. Chambre petite mais c'est un hôtel de ville, décoration sympa, grande douche avec une vraie fenêtre. Le côté sympa; petit dej dans la chambre

Hôtel bien situé dans un quartier animé .mais agréable . J ai demandé à avoir une chambre au calme afin de travailler , ce qui a été le cas . Neanmoins , des personnes au dessus semblait déplacer des choses ? La nuit , aucun bruit. Propre , rien à redire . Personnel disponible. Simple en conception , mais efficace avec petit déjeuner servi en chambre . Bon accueil

Hotel due stelle molto carino, pulito, abbastanza accogliente, possibilità di colazioni solo in camera su prenotazione, cambio lenzuola o eventuale sistemazione tutti i giorni, le stanze sono abbastanza piccole ma quanto basta per stare comodi il bagno è ben fornito, l’hotel è in posizione comoda di fronte alla fermata della metropolitana in un quartiere multietnico e molto vivace, Ci sono buoni ristoranti e ottimi posti per fare colazione, tutti i servizi nelle vicinanze, lo consiglio a tutti: viaggiatori solitari, coppie, non è adattissimo alle famiglie, l’unica cosa un po’ più sufficiente il sorriso alla reception: manca Anche se sono molto disponibili.
