Le Relais des Halles

Overall excellent experience. Staff are English proficient. They also held are bags during our transfer time. The one draw back is that they advertise having heating and air conditioning. They did not have these during our stay. Our room had a non operational thermostat that the technician said needed a new part. I have asthma so clean air is important. We had to open the window to get air circulation and this meant the noise and cigarette smoke from outside came in the room.

This is a lovely hotel with a great location. Close to the metro and trains but also within walking distance of central Paris. The hotel is staffed with a friendly, professional and kind staff. They were so helpful during our stay! The room was clean, and comfortable. The bathroom had everything you may have forgotten. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend this small hotel!

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The hotel is clean and well cared for. It is in a wonderful neighborhood, full of interesting things to see, cafés, and shopping opportunities. It's well connected to the metro. You can get anywhere in Paris. I would enjoy returning to this property and staying here again.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip to France, and I wish we'd stayed here for the first six nights we were in Paris! The location was ideal, very close to metro stops, restaurants, boulangeries. Centre Pompidou is around the corner, and Place des Vosges is a pleasant walk away. The hotel itself was well-appointed (both public spaces and room). We could not have asked for a better room. The room was large and quite comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious! It was large enough for both of us to get ready at the same time; the shower had great water pressure; there was a bathtub; and the toilet had a bidet function. The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. The room was stocked with coffee pods, Nespresso machine, kettle, and tea. The front desk staff offered us chocolates whenever we came in. There were convenient outlets on either side of the bed and at the desk in the room, which made it easy to charge phones/tablets overnight. Staff was very helpful and arranged an early taxi to the airport for us. I really wish we could have stayed longer. Rue Rambuteau (around the corner) was a pleasant walk where we found restaurants, markets, patisseries, and boulangeries. I cringe to say that my wife even found a Starbucks.

This is a charming boutique hotel with a great location two blocks from the Chatelet Les Halles transportation hub. The rooms and lobby are attractively decorated and impeccably maintained. Although our room was a bit small, it was fitted out with all the conveniences necessary to make for a very comfortable four-night stay. But the hotel’s big selling point is its central location - tucked next to the Marais and within a half hour walk of the Louvre, the Musee D’Orsay and much of the city’s best shopping and restaurants. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.

Few words to comment this hotel. Great location. Friendly and professional staff. Our accommodations were spacious, with a large closet equipped with ample hangers and drawers for our belongings. The bathroom was also sizeable and impeccably maintained. Excellent breakfast. Value for money. Absolutely recommended.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. The staff were amazing and would often give us tips of places to go and what’s going on in the area. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It was easy to get to lots of places of interest from the hotel. We had an amazing stay there and would love to return one day.

Liked it and will happily return. Nice, warm, welcoming staff. Very well positioned for getting to nice parts of Paris, major shopping, and a plethora of bars and restaurants. We chose this hotel as convenient for our daughters wedding venue but as we had lots of friends and family to meet with it was super convenient for lots of social meetings. Super comfortable bed; we slept well!

We are not new to Le Relais Des Halles, we have stayed here before. It does not disappoint for many reasons. First, the location is so convenient. We walk about 20 minutes to the Marais or to the Seine and Notre Dame. A short stroll away is the market street of rue Montorgueil and rue Mon**artre with restaurants, cafes, bakeries and shops galore. The Forum Halles is minutes away with still more shops and a convenient Monoprix. Another plus is great access to the Paris metro……the #4 line is steps away at Etienne Marcel, #7 at Chatelet and RER at Halles. Very easy access to Gare du Nord and we took the #4 to Gare de l’Est for out train to Reims. This trip we also took advantage of some very close jazz clubs at le Ducs des Lombards and 38RIV. And for a restaurant recommendation try Bistrot Victoires……very close by but away from the crowds…..the duck confit and the prices will bring a smile to your face. Next, the rooms are clean and delightful. We always book with their breakfast which is served in a beautiful lower level cave like room. An amazing buffet assor**ent, any kind of coffee you would want, freshly squeezed OJ and even eggs and omelettes to order. A perfect start to the day. Lastly, what makes Relais des Halles special is their staff. Eloise, Anna, Ann……..every single lady and gentleman at the front desk, housekeeping and breakfast room make you feel like you are visiting their home. They are eager to meet your every need and offer advice or suggestions to make your visit perfect. They are a great team. I apologize for not naming them all because they were all wonderful and deserve recognition. Thank you all. We will visit Paris again and there will be no need to consider any other hotel. We have a home at Le Relais Des Halles and look forward to returning.
