Chromecast is also provided for if you wish to cast apps from your smartphone • DVD player and selection of DVDs • Kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and kitchenware, ample pantry space, ceramic hob and microwave oven, fan oven, dishwasher, and good-sized refrigerator/freezer • BBQ is available over the summer months • Dining area seats up to 6 people • Three bedrooms, all with queen-size beds • Fourth (small) bedroom is set up as an office/study with desk and chair • Two bathrooms (one on each level), with a shower and toilet in each; one bath • Heat pump upstairs and 2x micathermic heaters downstairs for the cooler months • Outdoor shower is ideal for removing sand and salt after swims • Washing machine and good-sized tub in laundry • Mini clothesline outdoors • Ample off-street parking - space for several vehicles and/or a boat • Choice of outdoor areas to relax in, including balcony deck, covered patio, or lawn • Shelter from the sea breeze makes for a very warm, relaxing environment • Note that the house entrance is at ground level, but the living area and master bedroom are at the upper-level - access is by internal stairs only • Safe swimming beach • Close to cycle ways, nature walks, Kapiti Island Tours, aquatic centre, golf and bowling clubs, Marine Gardens, children's play park and miniature railway • 10 minutes (drive) to Paraparaumu train station; 55 minutes by train to Wellington station and stadium. • End your day admiring the stunning sunset, or cross the street to the beachfront to watch the ball of fire sink below the sea …. … and drift off to sleep to the sound of the waves • No cleaning charge – please see our modest cleaning requests in the information guide provided in the bach. • To help keep costs (and the rental price) down, we have no street rubbish collection. We ask you to take your rubbish away with you if it is convenient and, if not, we provide containers for leaving rubbish and recycling at the bach. • Please note there is an extra fee for bookings of more than 4 guests ($20 per extra guest per night) • We may request references for bookings over the xmas/new year period. • Before booking, please read our Safety and Security Policy and Information, which forms part of the rental agreement.
