Casa Mespilea

Wonderful place

We had an exceptional time at Casa Mespilea. Costas and his staff were very accommodating and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay. They also provided us with many recommendations for local spots to check out. The room was comfortable and perfect for our two night stay in Paphos. We dined at the hotel’s restaurant one night and the food was great and not too expensive. Perhaps the best part about the hotel was the location. It is walking distance to most major parts of Old Paphos and you can wake up across the street from gorgeous views of the sea. There are also many cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The only downside was lack of dedicated parking, but we easily found street parking within a 7 minute walk from the hotel. We are so glad we found this gem in Paphos. We will be back!

This hotel is in the old town. It is quaint. It is near plenty of restaurants and cafes even in winter. A lot of the rooms are ‘garden rooms’ and exit straight onto the garden where you can eat. I stayed in room 3 which is the largest. It has high ceilings and would be great in the summer as it would be cool. I would avoid this room in colder weather as it is difficult to heat. Bed was large and very comfortable. Bathroom was unusual as was behind a wall and open. It was clean and the water temperature was good. The only negative being that the shower head is too low. I am 5’11” and had to bob (worked the old quads though). Room could have had more crockery but I’m sure if we’d asked they would have brought some. Restaurant had good food and a pleasant atmosphere. Not many people there though about was winter. Breakfast could do with improvement. I recommend you eat elsewhere. I recommend Piedra’s where breakfast is served till 13:00. The owner and staff are good and very helpful. It was great to return here after a long day walking around for some peace and quiet. I totally recommend staying here if you’re not looking for that beach experience

One of the best ever! One of the loveliest hotels I have had the opportunity to stay at ever. Owner is architect and it is obvious in details. Location is 10/10 in Paphos close to all service. Inspiring in every sense! Don’t miss!! It is worth a special trip to Paphos just to stay here.

We stayed only a night in the family room of Casa Mespilea, very relaxing place, excellent service, the best location to walk to restaurants and sights and comfortable rooms to relax. Only downside is the lack of parking but the big municipal parking nearby is easy to reach. Booking and check in very easy and can access the owner directly. Will definitely stay there again. A hidden gem in Old Paphos. Fragrant and tranquil courtyard lunch. Exceptional food, great service, a calm and elegant retreat. A herb infused Mediterranean beauty. Explore the beautiful courtyard garden and its heady herb aromas. Highly recommended.
