Avanti Holiday Village

We have just returned from our 4th visit to the Avanti village. Check in was nice and quick, the staff on reception are friendly. The rooms are nice and big, basic but they have everything you need. The pool area is clean with plenty of sunbeds and the pool is nice to cool down in when it’s lovely and hot. The outside restaurant area is kept lovely and clean. The lunch menu has plenty to choose from and the food is very good. Demetra and her staff are fantastic, so welcoming and friendly. I was sad to say goodbye to Demetra and will miss our little chats. We will definitely return to Avanti village very soon.

Pleasant apartment with all you need, fridge, cooker, toaster. No views from balconies. Friday night the resort opposite had a very noisy event, fortunately it finished by 11:30. Nice pool area with lazy river. Breakfast was good, bacon, eggs, beans, sausages, the standard English fare. Buses to Paphos harbour just opposite the resort. Lots of cats, all friendly, please leave them water out if you can, they need this to be able to wash. Cleaning was regular and very unintrusive. 10 minutes walk to beach, 30 minutes walk into paphos along the promenade. Supermarkets similar to UK prices. Big supermarket in paphos, sells sainsbury products. Also, share a taxi into paphos, they'll do it for same price as the bus. Wouldn't return, but nice for a week. Oh and could get a lounger easily but expect it could get much busier in school holidays..went to sister hotel, similar to village, wouldn't bother.

We went with our kids: 11&9. It is a lovely resort for families. 3 star apartment which was well kept. There is a large spacious pool and loungers which the kids loved as well as the swim up bar. A separate pool for ball games was a hit. The indoor pool and facilities were good for when it was a little chilly and forecasted rain. Only 5-10 mins from beach. Beautiful promenade walk and several beaches on way to Paphos. We also went to the archaeological sites by local bus which was very easy.

This is a lovely hotel for a family holiday! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating - they made a real effort with our children. The food was very good - they even made dairy-free alternatives whenever we needed them. The rooms were clean and ample for our family. The pool and activities were great - the right balance between relaxation and fun. Highly recommend!

This was our 7th holiday at Avanti as a family. All the staff are very friendly and helpful with any requirements you may have. Rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable. Pool area is large with plenty of sun beds.. There is also a large indoor swimming pool. Pool bar staff are very friendly and welcoming. Demetra in the restaurant by the pool always has time with everyone and makes your stay even more enjoyable. The area nearby and at the harbour have plenty of restaurants.

we just came back from a wonderful holiday at the avanti village nothing bad my kids loved the mini disco by lucy . staff very polite , rooms clean , and lovely pool area . Big shoutout to the young lad jd made us feel soo welcoming since the first night we arrived we already planning to come back in september . thnak you avanti village

We’ve just had a brilliant first holiday abroad with our little family, we stayed here at the Avanti Holiday Village. Very basic but it’s what we wanted as we were only sleeping here. We had no issues at all, lovely staff and lovely cleaners (cleaners dont speak English) our only concern is that the ground floor terraces dont have walls or rails, this meant we couldn’t have the door open as young daughter would wonder off. Pool and facilities are great. And you can also swim and eat at their sister hotel just across the road. Lots of feral cats so be prepared (they are friendly) also, be prepared to see lots of GIANT ants and woodlice and earwigs!! Would recommend this place and would definitely come back!

Very large complex with lots of space, huge pool, very large private apartments. It really is like a little village with windy paths out to either the pool, reception area or out towards the supermarkets and a couple of restaurants, the Fiesta and Ocean Basket. We noticed there were quite a few empty outlets that used to be restaurant/bars on site, not sure if they have closed due to lack of activity during the pandemic? It didn't spoil our holiday as there are still quite a few restaurants and bars in the area outwith the complex. Reception are very helpful in that we had requested a field side room before we arrived and that's exactly what we got and also we requested to extend our room on the last day due to a late flight and this too was honoured at a cost of €70 until 6pm, so thank you Avanti Just bare in mind though that when making requests it really is just that and that it might not be possible for reception if you ask during high season! The pool area is massive with a swim up bar and lunch served from 11.30am. You can either charge your meal and drinks to your room or pay there and then, however for drinks from the bar you are best to charge to your room as the card machine kept playing up! If you don't want to wait until you leave before paying your room bill you can just go to reception each day to pay in cash or card. There is shade around one side of the pool and full sun on the other side of the pool. There are loads of sunbeds, so no need to reserve, not sure what this is like in high season though! The room is massive with 2 single beds in the living room and double (2 beds together) in the bedroom. Note the bathroom is in the bedroom, meaning any nighttime toilet breaks during the night for anyone sleeping in the living room could pose a problem? The Aircon is in both rooms and was such a relief that we left it on constantly, the beds are also super comfy. We didn't cook much, but we noticed there was only one pot and one frying pan. There are no scissors or dish towels, which we gathered from a previous review, I brought dish towels with me. The cleaning staff do a great job, fresh towels everyday, bins emptied floors cleaned and beds made. They don't service on Mondays or Thursdays, but they still empty the bin and provide clean towels. We walked to the harbour a few times, and along the way there is a really lovely outside bar called Suite 48, they do wonderful cocktails especially Pornstar Martinis. They also do food. We watched the sunset from there one evening. The harbour has great restaurants especially Theo's, which is a family business. Along from Avanti is a bar called wild horse which is busy in the evening. We went there a few times after our dinner. They have the usual holiday entertainment, kareoke etc. If that is your thing. The hotel entertainment could definitely be improved especially with the huge outdoor space they have which doesn't look like it is used in the evening not even for dinner? Greek/Cypri

We had a fantastic 12 night stay at Avanti Village. All the staff were really welcoming and helpful. The apartment was spotless, the pool and all the facilities were great. It was a short walk to the beach and harbour and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We have to give a big shout out to the entertainment staff especially Lucy, Julia, JD and Ned. They were brilliant and our daughter Ella will really miss them. She always asked where Lucy was! Thirmeda on reception was very helpful throughout our stay. Thanks so much, we will be back!
