The Puro Grand is a tiny annex style hotel. It’s physically linked to its bigger sister 3* hotel and has shared services. The only difference between this single hotel facility is a separate entrance (10 meters away) and the ‘Grand’ has better rooms. During our stay there was one person running everything - reception, bar, service. The ‘Grand’ has no atmosphere - it’s a hostel where people come to sleep. No one eats here - as it’s an empty little husk of a place with no staff and dirty glasses and tables everywhere (see photos’). The web site is cynical and deceitfully deceptive. This is a dreadful hotel that relies on its convenient location.

Extremely unfriendly and unhelpful staff. 8 consider the service closer to a 3 stars hotel than a 5 stars… what a disappointment for the price Even the hotel manager is extremely uncommercial and extremely rude with its customers. There are tons of better options for the price in Mallorca.

There are a few pros to this hotel: 1) good location; 2) rooms were beautiful and clean. However, the cons far outweigh the pros. The overall hotel is hardly a 5 star caliber hotel - the lobby is messy and confusing, with electronic cords all over the place. I've always believed that elite customer service really makes a 5 star hotel experience superior and this was the furthest thing from excellent customer service. We accidentally booked our stay for the following week (absolutely our mistake) and when we called Puro for assistance with this error, they were less than helpful. We ended up having to book a new reservation for the correct dates, with no resolution for the incorrect dates, except to just lose our money. It was extremely challenging to get ahold of anyone by phone and they kept asking us to call back. Even during our stay, customer service was below average. The front desk staff struggled to check us in, no one told us about any of the amenities onsite, restaurant servers were slow. We ended up leaving to go to a different 5 star hotel nearby and the contrast in quality of customer service was night and day! I would urge travelers to stay elsewhere in Palma.

Location, comfort, food, drinks and service were all amazing. Attentive and discrete can be hard to balance but these guys do it with easy style. All staff were amazing… a particular mention to aian (?) it was his 3rd day and was wonderful. One morning was a little rainy and he suggested we took a hotel umbrella. Perfect. Service to the roof terrace was prompt and just lovely. It was our 1st time to Majorca. We didn’t know what to expect but we will definitely be back to Majorca and definitely stay here again. Love it when you visit somewhere new and it makes you want to go back. Well done team Puro xx

Great boutique hotel. Clean, excellent service. Especially mentioning Abdallah and Meryam for their professionalism and help. Would certainly go there again. Location of hotel is excellent in the old town in close proximity to restaurants, and shopping .

What a beautiful hotel, full of character and great location. The breakfast was fabulous such fresh and healthy choices. The customer service was second to none, HUGE thanks to the two ‘angels’, Angel(a) who assisted big time on reception and Angel(ica) the waitress, both were always with a smile and went all out to make our stay special and memorable big THANKS we will be back .

Simply superb. We have had an amazing stay at the hotel which we would highly recommend. The staff were excellent and helpful, we were met by Camilla at reception when we arrived and she made sure we were looked after and gave us a tour of the hotel to show us all its facilities. Our room was excellent and was a delight for our three day stay, lots of individual touches such as fresh flowers, gifts, chocolates and tea/coffee. The breakfast was also excellent, great choices and available between 8am and 12pm. The hotel is also ideally situated for exploring the city. Looking forward to our return. Thank you again for our lovely break with you.

Great hotel in a really good location. Easy access to city centre, cathedral and port. 2 minute walk to loads of bars and restaurant, but situated in a very narrow, quiet street. Room was great, comfortable bed, loads of room and a huge shower. only stayed B&B and breakfast was very good. Staff were excellent and very knowledgeable.

The location is great and the room was nice (although not extraordinary), but as a solo traveller, the primary experience was indifference - from the welcome to the check out. This was hugely contrasted with the warm and friendly staff at purobeach, who went out of their way to offer excellent service with a smile. There were also a few bugs in the bed and helpfully the hotel moved me as soon as I found them, however at check out the next day there was no real mention or apology, other than to say there had been nothing there - which is incorrect.
