Kotri Raola - A Boutique Heritage Haveli

My husband and I came in September 2021 and we were absolutely enchanted by the place, so much so that it was difficult to leave! Kotri Raola is a real gem located near Narlai and surrounded by wild nature and by a typical village inhabited by the Rabari pastoral community where it is very pleasant to go for a stroll and meet the locals. The architecture of the mansion as well as the decoration of the rooms are superb and the warm welcome of the hosts makes you feel like part of the family. Kotri Raola is a place where we come back again and again...!

A beautiful place to experience a little of rural Rajasthan. We took a walk through the village meeting some of the local farmers and sat at the well watching life go by. In the evening we watched the sky turn pink and tried to catch a glimpse of the mother leopard and her cubs that live in the rocky outcrop that overlooks the village. A really enchanting place with lovely rooms and a very warm welcome. I hope to be back there soon.

We, a family of three, needed some peace and quiet and came across Kotri Raola which had good reviews. What actually made us choose the place was the review about the people there, specially Neeravji. The property is located off the main route, in a very beautiful village. The palace itself is well maintained and has ample choice of rooms, all different from one another. The food and hygiene are excellent. They have a stable with lovely polo ponies and racehorses. It is an excellent place to learn about the upkeep and care of the animals. A visit to the village with Fatehsinghji, was extremely rewarding. We had constant company of Neeravji, his wife Sara, and their cute baby Anu, who we missed even after coming back. Overall it was a very satisfying and great experience Finally I would like to mention that I had mentioned during booking that it was my wife's birthday, and they very kindly arranged for a cake on the eve.
