Dera Jawai

The property is really raw and beautifully made enhancing the natural ecosystem. The hospitality was top notch and so was the food, very delicious. They even arranged a candle light dinner on top of the hill overlooking the pool which was amazing. Rooms could have been better with lizards everywhere definitely not a pleasant experience. Overall a good stay.

I went to Dera Jawai just recently in the month of April,2025 for a 2 night 3 day stay. Mr. Abhishek and his team gave us a warm welcome to the place. The location is a very scenic one where one can have glimpses of peacocks and peahens. Dera Jawai gives a forest vibe with a comforting touch to it. I would highly recommend Dera Jawai to anyone and everyone who likes to relax and enjoy a natural, picturesque environment. Mr. Abhishek and his team ensure that the comforts, necessities and preferences of the guests are provided first priority and the guests enjoy to the fullest. Moreover, they also provide a safari to the famous Jawai Bandh which is well known for leopard sightings. Dera Jawai is definitely a go to place and a place which makes the trip more and more memorable and cherishable.

Our stay at this beautiful boutique property in Jawai was nothing short of exceptional. From the seamless reservation process to the well-organized airport transfers arranged by the hotel, everything was effortless. The property itself is stunning, with just four luxury tents and two cottages, ensuring an intimate and exclusive experience. The accommodations are spacious and thoughtfully designed, embracing the rustic charm of the surroundings while maintaining luxury and comfort. The staff deserves a special mention—they were warm, courteous, and always ready to assist. As a group of eight ladies, we felt completely safe and well taken care of. Their hospitality truly made our stay even more special. The food was another highlight. Every meal was delicious, fresh, and not overly oily or spicy like typical restaurant fare. While they graciously offered to prepare anything we desired, we thoroughly enjoyed every dish they served. The dal, baati, and churma we had for lunch was a standout meal—absolutely delightful! The hotel also arranged all our safaris, and we were lucky to have some fantastic sightings. The entire experience was well-coordinated, making our time in Jawai truly memorable. If you're looking for a serene, luxurious, and authentic Jawai experience, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Unexplored place to visit. Must have local/traditional food like Kersangri, rabori , pachkuta, makai daliya mixed with masala butter milk, rajasthani kadhi & khichdi. Good hospitality & cleanliness. Leopard Safari with high tea was memorable experience. Courteous staff.

Stay was excellent. Food was great. Staff very courteous. Manager Abhishek ji was very helpful right from our booking. Had a good safari trip. High tea was great. Trip to ranakpur jaon temple was great. We also visited Camel Charisma. Dera Jawai is well maintained. Plants and trees abound. Palash flower adds beauty . Star attraction in Dera Jawai is carlos a big dog which is very friendly Special attraction of Dera Jawai

A wonderful stay in the camp with luxurius tents, where they do everything to make you feel welcom! They organise twice a day a wonderful safari as well. You might spot a leopard, crocodil and lots of birds. If it wasn’t on the other side of the world i sure would like to come again
