A beautiful, tranquill hotel on the outskirts of Palermo. Nothing was too much trouble. Both the breakfasts and evening meals were exquisite. Exceptionally clean and comfortable room and hotel. It is clear that all staff, whatever their position are proud to work here. Gorgeous views of the sea and marina.

Pricey, but this hotel provides a level of service and elegance that is difficult to find in an increasingly brash world of mediocrity. The hotel is “out of town” but adjacent to the harbour with relaxing sea views from an ages old, beautifully positioned terrace. Ideal for those wanting charm, comfort and service.

A fantastic start to our Sicily + Sardinia vacation. Staff here second to none in terms of cheerfulness and attentiveness. They made every request seem like we were doing THEM a favor. Could not recommend more highly and I have been in the hosptitality business for 20 years so I recognize well trained staff when I see them! Room and restaurant experience first rate.

Our group of 3 couples began a long planned trip to Sicily with a 3 night stop at the Villa Igiea, Palermo. This is truly a special hotel. Everything was perfect, spacious rooms, amazing food and service at both breakfast and dinner. The waitstaff were the most helpful pleasant people you could ever hope for. A special thank you to Francesco who went above and beyond to help us locate all of our checked bags (8) lost by United Airlines. From the moment we arrived, 30 hours late (again due to United Airlines) we were treated like royalty by the entire staff from front desk to a lovely lady housekeeper.

A truly spectacular setting, and a lovely hotel. However, the staff really made the visit special. We felt looked after from the moment we arrived, and the concierge and team were available even before we arrived. They had ready suggestions for everything from dinner out to vintage shopping and the markets. The rooms were elegant and very comfortable, and we have wonderful views.

One of the most beautiful hotel i have ever seen in my life. Classy, top service, amazing room, stunning view, exceptional breakfast! I have no words to describe the beauty around us Would visit Palermo again just to spend a night here. Price in line with a 5 stars hotel

Highly recommend staying at the Villa Igiea. The service is 5 star. We stayed for 6 nights and every day was perfect. The breakfast was fantastic and the fresh orange juice was so good. The hotel room was spectacular and the turn down service each night was a nice touch.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel with the so many gorgeous details (the chandeliers!!). We had a lovely sea view from our room and enjoyed the view every morning at breakfast. The breakfast had plenty to offer, with both a continental buffet and options for cooked food. The cleaning staff were absolutely top notch. They took care of every detail, even giving us bookmarks or microfiber clothes when we left out our book or glasses. Our stay was altogether restful and luxurious. There are few downsides, but a few are perhaps worth noting. The first is the pillows are horribly flat and uncomfortable, which took away from our enjoyment of the room. We were also surprised to be charged for drinking coffees in the room. €3 for a nespresso pod seemed a bit silly, especially when most every other hotel we’ve ever been to offers tea and coffee without charge. The hotel is not close to the city center and most things required a taxi to get to, which does require some planning ahead (no nipping back to the hotel!). We didn’t mind, though, given how lovely our stay was. There are also some nice street food places around for quick lunches.
