Hotel Boutique Niu de Sol - Designed for Adults

The hotel appears to be nice at first. Very overpriced. Rooms with Ikea furniture and the beds are not comfortable. Ancient bathrooms. The highlight is the breakfast. No close parking so need to leave the car in an unsupervised outside parking.

Excellent Hotel in a very quiet village our first 2 nights of a week's walking in the area. Lovely rooms very clean with great bathrooms. Excellent breakfast lots of local food to choose from. Lots of areas in the hotel to relax in. Our group of 4 loved the balcony area to chill out after a tough days walking.

Wonderful hotel with genuine welcome. Felt like a little haven. Great rooms. Nicely decorated. Nice range of interconnected public rooms too. Had lovely evening drinks from the honesty bar on the terrace. Did a wee bit of work in the study. Great breakfast spreqd and best hotel coffee of 10 day trip by far. Arrived after day walking over the mountain and really appreciated the strong shower to get the dust off.

The Hotel Boutique Niu de Sol was my final stop during a press trip with Catalan Adventures in collaboration with The Scotsman newspaper. As soon as I entered the door I was warmly greeted by a lovely receptionist. Unfortunately, my note of her name is missing but I arrived on March 24 so hotel management please acknowledge this wonderful member of staff. Others like Merce (who runs the hotel) also created a warm atmosphere and made me feel incredibly welcome. The breakfast was of exceptional quality and my room was so comfortable and luxurious it was a wonderful place to conclude my adventure. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone and hope to visit again in the near future.

Wonderful hotel, fantastic helpful staff. Lovely old building lovingly restored and fabulous design touches at every turn. Delicious breakfast with endless coffee and lovely freshly squeezed orange juice. Fabulous roof terrace with stunning views towards the mountains and the bay of Roses. Very secure storage for bikes

This is a lovely place to stay. We had a very comfortable room on the top floor,which led to a shared seating area. Quirky and stylish furnishings and lots of greenery outside. The breakfasts were delicious and changed slightly each day. Merce was really helpful. She booked a restaurant for us on the first night, gave us lots of local information and lent us an umbrella for the beach. The village is delightful, with great restaurants. We enjoyed a day at the public pool, as a change from the beach. A huge pool, lots of places to sit in the shade and tasty chicken and chips!! Merce gave us instructions to get to the public parking, which is free. This is a great place to stay.
