Best Beachfront Experience with a Bonfire Night! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Laya Safari gave us the perfect beachfront getaway! The Sea View Deluxe Room was beautiful, offering an amazing view of the ocean. The adventure activities were thrilling—we loved horseback riding on the beach at sunset and the ATV off-road ride. The safari experience was also incredible, and the hotel arranged a special 5 AM breakfast for us before we left. A huge shoutout to GM Wasantha, who made our nights extra special by arranging a bonfire on the beach. It was such a fun experience! I had a fantastic at laya Safari Hotel in Palatupana. The friendly staff welcomed me with smiles and a refreshing drink. The room was comfortable and spotless, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring Yala National Park, making it convenient for safari adventures, and the surrounding area is beautiful. The amenities, including a lovely swimming pool, enhanced my experience. The dining options were excellent, with a delicious breakfast buffet and flavorful local dishes for dinner. The tranquil atmosphere and beautiful decor made for a relaxing stay, and the staff provided great recommendations for local attractions. Overall, laya Safari Hotel offers exceptional value, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Yala!

My wife and I recently stayed one night at the Laya Safari hotel. I do not recommend this hotel at all. In no particular order here’s what we experienced: 1) bad odor in the room, 2) stains in the shower, 3) lots of insects on the ceiling, 4) a patio back door that would not lock and had to be repaired at night while the door was left open, 4) two lizards that entered the room when the door was left open and began to crawl across the ceiling, 5) food in the restaurant was rather poor quality, 6) road conditions to the hotel were quite rough. On the positive side, staff were very polite and cordial. But all in all, stay away from this hotel.

Excellent location and beautiful surroundings with a sense of freedom to walk the beaches as well as rock pools with fish to explore. Beautiful ocean views from the rooms and great pool area. The rooms while clean have some minor issues but overall are clean and comfortable. Many wild life encounters, including Raja the elephant who comes late at night. Staff are very friendly and helps with anything you require. Overall great experience and will be back to visit.

The property doesn’t match the photos. It is over priced for what you get. Our driver wouldn’t even stay in the drivers accommodation as it was dirty. You can’t swim at the beach. Their beach bar doesn’t open till 7:30pm and you have missed the sunset. The property needs a lot of love. The shower head was damaged and needed replacing. The food in the Restraunt was slow to arrive and only average basically flavourless. The staff however were amazing. They were young and friendly and all had a smile. My time over I would have stayed in a home stay.

Total scam place. The photos on the website does not match with the actual room. The food is inedible here (had to send back multiple dishes) and we had to go next door to Jetwing Yala to have a proper meal. WiFi is 0.4mbps, which is unusable. When we checked into the room, it was full of flies.
